Well if you are going for a full wings build then try to add more engines clipping them, having a bigger thrust in the back sometimes help a bit with the weird drag. -

Nice plane, but i have the impression its too much tall. Edit: after watching photos i can tell you i was right Reducing the tallness (is this the right word?) you can also benefit a reduced wing surface, so a better drag and obviously increased overall performance. You can also reduce rudder size. -

The nacelles is a Exothermos work, kudos to him, i ve just redesigned the shockcone. The whole craft is a cooperation, i ve done the complete shape:nose wings cockpit rudders. Exothermos has added awesome details with wing edges, nose chines and obviously the masterpiece nacelle and engine design, without him this plane couldn t be so realistic. And without me and my mad perfectionism this replica couldn t be so precise i guess -

Here you can see a better comparison, from left to right: my craft, 50% opacity overlay, real sr-71 and a 50% opacity inverted colors. Still a WIP, i've added a custom cockpit and removed temporaly the spine on the body. Right now im working just with real pictures due the fact there is not a really accurate blueprint, US governement has burnt original blueprints, so everything you find on the internet is just a personal interpretation. -

I dont mean to move the canards forward, they are more on top of the fuselage on the real plane, look the craft from the front and you will understand

There is a problem with the xb-70, "canards" should be placed almost on top of the fuselage, and not in the midle, other than that awesome. Note i whrote "canards"because actually the valkyrie didn t used canards, but ailerons or flaps i dont remember the correct name sorry.

I can see a good quality sr 71 replica here, well done sir.But even if this modded cockpit its modeled after blackbird one, i still think the overall shape of fhe nose section seen from top is incorrect. But i can understand the autor, trying to fit a sr71 shaped cockpit in a 2 mt piece is impossible. Returning to your work, it's the best mod replica. May i ask you how do you paint your crafts please?

Hi! This is a rework of a really old craft i`ve posted here in 0.24 i guess.. It`s basically an hybrid roadster capable to reach 300+ km/h and still being manouverable. All in 114 parts. Less than 100 the car actually. COMMANDS: 1 toggle rear wing (more speed +12 m/s) 2 toggle window ( + 2 m/s) NOTE it comes with 2 command pods that can be separated form the car so you can easily put your kerbals aboard. MAX SPEED 302 km/h 84 m/s¨safe steering under 70 m/s above this be gentle with the imputs DOWNLOAD Video done by @esinohio

Hi! I`m back. This time im working on something different from planes and replicas, this time i have a new version (a total rework) of one of my firsts crafts, the mantide jet-car. here you can see the very old model -

I'm only a plane builder and i repeat ONLY, i think of myself to be a plane builder expert on ksp, so here it is my 2 cent. The new mk1 cockpit isn't at all so good, like said it fits only planes, and inside plane category only private jets and just 1 or 2 fighters properly (B-58 is really the only one that fits); this new mk1 is a totally mess when building replicas. Plus the mk1 inline cockpit is the only one suitable for fighters and it looks too much like a toy when combined with a NCS adapter, and don't even try to use an advance cone, because it looks rubbish and a stupid small cone with a stupid angle not sleek at all. Believe me i don't lack of creativity when building planes (who knows me can agree i think), but these parts are making all so hard! So my question is, why can't we have more cockpits that fits different style of planes? A lot of peoples are downloading mods, but why don't give us more stock choice? A nice set would be: COCKPITS: -normal mk 1 -normal inline mk1 -old mk 1 -double seats tandem inline mk1 (just image a longer cockpit how much good will look) -normal mk 2 -normal inline mk2 -fighter like mk2 (just like B9, bahamuto and all the others mod) NOSECONES -normal ncs adapter -longer and sleeker NCS -a better advanced nosecone please, the normal is rubbish (without offence to the creator) Sorry for my bad english.

My last replica before server migration, forget Me 262, this is the best .... design imho. 66 parts all stock flies realistically. Enjoy :) P.s. This craft was a lot harder to build than you could think.
