  1. You can easily solve lift balance by clipping lifting surfaces inside the body so you can rotate the tail in the right position, why chose function or form when you can have both?
  2. This craft is too small, i think you can scale it up a bit so the engines and nosecone can fit better togeter with the plane, because now they looks too big. I don't like the wings either to be honest. Sorry for my criticism but i think i can help you to design a better craft if i say what i think.
  3. Ok you can compensate the angled lift force with opposite angled wings ok, but this will even produce more drag when running, so you can resolve some stability and manouverabilty problems but the plane will fly even slower than before. The only way now is adding MOARRR POWERRRRRR
  4. from experience i can say in stock there is no way to resolve these strange drag forces caused from the angle of the wings, even adding more surfaces don t really work. I have learnt this with my 0.90 f-22 (still the best looking raptor replica imo), with 1.0 it became totally unflyable, a brick with wings, and adding surfaces and more engines didn t really resolved the problem. You did an awesome design, we can only wait and see if squad will do something about the drag and lift.
  5. I have already proposed to create an option that disable lift on wings, but people just laughed at me... They don't know what means building a replica in 1.0 here the link http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/126724-disable-lift-option-for-wings Btw i really doubt this f117 will fly decently (for my standards obviously), there is for sure too much drag that slow the plane and don't allow precise manouvers, still an awesome looks.

I understand your point of view and i respect it, i agree the rafale lines and shape needs something different to be build, but i still think a less complicated f4 should be better, i really can t like your cockpit, ingegnious but i dont like it. I still prefer your other crafts but it s just me so dont listen to me too much Do what you want to do and how you want to.

Don't get me wrong, this and the rafale looks very good and realistic, but i think you should return to your previous style of building, you have a talent for make good looking craft that also looks simply (For example ur pak fa), and it s a shame to build these larger crafts with lots of parts, they looks right but also they looks too much exagerate, sometimes less is better imho. It s just my opinion you could not agree still great job!

  13. I've just watched the video, very well done! Since you took my A-10 and modded it i was thinking why dont you take this and try to mod it? She already has a missile bay ready for use, i always wanted to see this craft in action, but my pc can't handle many mods and a recording programm. I think some interception scenes should be cool!

  17. - - - Updated - - - I noticed he updated his script on gethub and it seems most of the textures are working. Still some issues with some parts not showing up but all in all it appears to be functioning. Simply perfect! Thanks again I will add this picture on my thread as soon as I turn on my PC.
  18. You will find a lot of peoples using wings as structural panels, so I will not bother to much about it be or not be realistic. It's just an usefull tool for making more cool planes.

Hi! 99% of the time I build planes, i really enjoy do it but with 1.0 building fuselage with wings became almost impossible due to the drag effect, so we can't for example create a custom nosecone made of small wings or we cant build strange angled fuselage with wings. So i was thinking about an option in the editor for disable lift from wings, so we can choose wich wing should act like a proper lifting surface or a structural panel. What do you think about it? Sorry for my bad english
