  1. Wiki for plasma acceleration: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Plasma_acceleration CERN uses RF acceleration, and plasma acceleration allows for much stronger acceleration for a given area ie: doesn't need to be enormous to be powerful.
  2. Just wondering, is the particle accelerator based on RF acceleration or plasma acceleration?
  3. Seeing as the game is now in beta, perhaps the next update shall include Unity 5 support? Or at least an experimental unity 5 build? There are too many benefits of Unity 5 for Squad to pass it up.
  4. Can someone please tell me the tweakscale multipliers for all the parts?
  5. IMO bad idea. Nuclear engines should be usable without much consequence (other than price). Besides the average kerbal is too dumb to see radiation as a bad thing.
  6. Is there a way to change the settings with GUI?
  7. Another reason is because I occasionally experience a bug where my mods disappear. Usually just get all the mods again, but updated versions sometimes remove certain parts.
  8. Title says it all. Sometimes I want to change ship designs that contain missing parts and sometimes I want to terminate the ships in space that have missing parts but are hidden by ksp.
  9. Please update to 0.24 Reactors and stuff keep falling through my craft.
  10. The atomic engine is not used in real life ever since they banned nuclear testing in space, air, and water. I also acknowledge that the chance it gets into stock is low.
  11. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quantum_vacuum_plasma_thruster A kind of thruster that does not need to carry any propellant. "According to Harold White, a quantum vacuum plasma thruster-powered spacecraft weighing 90 tonnes would be able to reach Proxima Centauri in ~29.9 years at 4 newtons per kilowatt." Seems like a great idea and should be implemented in stock (unlikely) or a mod.
  12. I agree water needs to be completely remade. Underwater exploration could be fun, but let's not rush to that and focus on more realistic water physics/optimization first.
