1. Ahh ok i figured out my problem, turns out if you go to curse and just hit the download button it downloads the old version not the new one. No wonder it wasn't working! If you want the new version, you have to click files and then 0.7 prerelease 3 Thanks anyway!
2. Hey, does anyone know how to install this with other kopernicus mods (or if its even compatible)? I'm trying to install with the outer solar system mod, and both have kopernicus files, and i dont know which i should override.
3. Dunno if anyone else is experiencing this but i seem to be crashing in 1.1.2 with planetshine installed. I have other mods installed, but I tested it with and without the mod and this does seem to be the problem. I know normally you're supposed to post like error messages if you have a problem, but i thought I'd ask if anyone else was having problems first
4.
http://i.imgur.com/GQP2CyT.jpg
hey, uh you rekon its possible to get like a print of that or something? it's just I really like it
5. Heyo! As others have said, there's plenty of help on the forums. But as a general rule: If it doesn't work, add more boosters. And struts.
6. FYI, when attacking stuff in KSP, you have to be aware that a projectile travelling fast enough is unlikely to collide with another object, since in the space of one frame it will pass through it. This pretty much takes out method 1, and is gonna make you want to be careful about your relative speeds for method 2.
7. Thanks for all your comments guys! So what I'm getting here is that its the acceleration of the rocket that cancels out the paradox? Gonna have to think about that for a bit, but its a start.
8. This is a paradox to do with time dilation and relativity that I just can't get my head around. Let's say a rocket takes off from earth and flies at some significant proportion of the speed of light, then returns to earth. This is a classic style question, the normal answer would be that because of time dilation, less time would pass for the rocket than for the people on earth. To put some numbers on it, lets just say the rocket has experienced 1 year, and the earth 100 years. However, the problem is, this assumes the earth is the observer. If we take the rocket as the observer, the earth has flown away at near-light speed and returned, and this should give that the earth is now 1 year older while the rocket is 100. Of cause, they can't be both 1 and 100 years old at the same time, it doesn't work, so what happens?
9. Heheh, it's an animun drawing geddit cus its mun and anime .. I'll let myself out
10. would be really useful for spacecraft, being able to put stuff on the front, especially docking ports. REMOVE THE CONE!
11. can we not get a link to a larger image size or is that it?
12. ...., they're selling the expansion pass for like £130 now! Glad I bought it for ~£40 or whatever back then, even at the time I thought I'd only save a little money in the long run (think battlefield season pass)
13. I wouldn't suppose if any of you guys know is the horizons expansion will be included in the free expansion pass thing they offered back pre-beta? They dont seem to mention it on their site.... Also anyone else exited for the cqc pc release? Havent played in ages but I can really see that getting me back into elite!
14. when your talking about the costs of launching fuel into space, having a fuel thats a bit more pricey isn't that much of an issue.
15. From my understanding of how the persistent file works, i *think* it would be ok, even if you had something landed or orviting eeloo, but I'm no modder so I wouldn't take my word for it (atleast without a backup)
16. FINALLY! A planet mod that adds non-stupid planets. Planning on starting a new playthough soonish, how is the memory usage of this mod?
17. I don't think it's possible for a satelite to be in a 100% stable orbit.
18. They support TrackIR now, so I wouldn't be suprised if they added in oculus support when it's released. I've played with the trackIR in ksp back when it was just a mod, and I gotta tell you just that alone adds a whole new imersive element to IVA flights. Oculus would be amazing! However, this IS ksp, so it's bound to get modded in even if it's not officially supported.
19. I've seen it before, but I amused it was just there all the time and never looked for it again after.
20. "Where are you putting those guns?" "How does that even fly?" - my friends watching me play
21. Looking at it it should run ksp fairly well, but the GPU isn't that good so it will struggle to run most other games (ksp just isn't that gpu intensive). Obviously as many people have said I'd recomend building your own pc since its so much cheaper, but if you really want a pre-built, I'd recomend this website: https://www.cyberpowersystem.co.uk/
22. It's worth renembering that ksp is bottlenecked by being 32bit, so there's only so much performance your gonna get out of it, especially if your using mods.
