  2. I saw this post and thought, "A B9 Exclusive ships repository! No Way!" So here is my addition to it. It will also be my first post on the site This is my Saratoga Class Battle Cruiser, almost exclusively B9 parts it is a multipurpose vessel that is functional (with unbreakable joints). Features include: Hypersonic Main Bridge (W/ Battle Ready Mode) 2 x functional cargo bays Multiple docking ports Extreme Air brakes (Like seriously these things will drop you into a planet if your not careful with your atmo-breaking) Reverse Thrusters for easy maneuvering V-TOL Capable (Stability assisted with Hover Lazer Network, those are the pink ones) Remote Fuel Transfer (Yellow Lasers) Active Scanning LIDAR (Green Lasers) Beaming Capabilities Sun Beam Lasers At Launch It Weighs 430 Tons with a TWR of 1.5, and at 1/4 Fuel (Enough for Mun and Minmus Round trips) weighs 235 Tons and 2.5 TWR. It will land on Minmus and Mun if your extremely careful or for the less patient with No Crash Dmg turned on. I have not confirmed landing on any other planet or moon yet but those with less then Mun gravity shouldn't be an issue. It uses landing legs and V-TOL + Hover Lasers to land and take off safely. A Kerbian launch is possible with only Unbreakable Joints IF you park a huge stack of Jumbo's on the Runway and link the fuel to the ship using Resource Transfer Lasers, Launch ship from launch pad and use second set of Yellow Lasers for Afterburner effect, BUT it's possible! Easiest way though is Hack Gravity, Infinate Fuel and a 20 degree climb from the runway. Will land and launch from low gravity moons with precision piloting and a perfect landing spot. Mech Jeb and the lasers help a ton. At 748 parts the lag is pretty bad, it would have been better without the 200+ lights that cover its hull but I have a thing for the dramatic. A potential redesign is on the way one that I hope will not use any cheats what so ever. I will try to put up a link for it tomorrow, after work it is too late to figure it out right now.
  3. First Manned mission to Eve... Spent several days designing a Space Plane that could land and take off from Eve, once satisfied with the results I send the ship there taking my time to land perfectly so that nothing falls off and once I come to a complete stop, YEAH! Celebration time, But first need to plant the flag! Exit cockpit and..... forgot the latter. No worries though I can fix that! Lower landing gear let plane tip slightly to the side and Kerbian on Eve! Plant flag, take a leak and admire the purple then back to the Plane, where I find that Kerbian's suck at jumping and the later was just out of reach $%! 20 minutes of button smashing and SUCCESS! Kerbian in a space plane! Go to raise landing gear and.......plane snaps in half......well &%$#. Alright, time for a rescue mission! Back at the space center I start thinking regular landers are boring I want one that looks like a giant spider mech. So I design a giant multipurpose lander and used structural wings for the legs. It gets into space great and makes it to Eve just as planed, Mech Jeb an exact landing at crash site and promptly remember that Eve has an atmosphere and the wind passing over my structural wing spider legs made the ship point straight done with no hope of recovery and smash into the surface of the planet not 300 meters from the other ship. *$%^#@$#%@$! Two stranded Kerbals on Eve to this day. I do have high hopes about my new Battle-Cruiser rescuing them from low Eve Orbit using a beaming laser, but we shall see.
