  1. This is quite awesome. Is there a way to add it to other parts than fuselage and fuel etc? Or a way to make the smoke trail denser/longer lasting?
  2. Can't help but notice that by default you can't scale the MK2 and MK3 fuselages. Also, trying to fix this resulted in the DeltaWing mysteriously failing to work with tweakscale despite being set to "free" in the squad cfg.
  3. I don't even know why I did this.
  4. I have returned from a year's hiatus living amongst and studying the rare flora and fauna of Kerbin. To commemorate my return to office, I have created a monument to the one thing I missed most on my journey of exploration and contemplation. The humble bagel.
  5. 6/10 quote could have been phrased better (inb4 "shameless self promotion")
  6. One for the list: Overwolf. Sadly (depending on your opinion), this excellent screen recorder comes bundled inside a very compact (it collapses to a small icon when not in use) ingame widget suite. For example, a chat program that hooks into various other things like steam chat/facebook/skype/teamspeak, an ingame web browser, tools for showing FPS, that sort of thing. The only thing I ever use(d) is the screen recorder, although I just purchased Bandicam to try it out and see if it does well. Benefits: Small file size, high quality video (720p), you can watch your videos ingame, you can upload the raw footage to youtube ingame. For examples of Overwolf videos, click the image in my sig and scroll pretty much to the bottom. Any framerate issues are from me recording everything on a laptop that was never meant for gaming. What you see is exactly what I saw, minus Youtube's automatic video compression. Drawbacks: Comes with a bunch of other stuff that is probably unnecessary, will probably break temporarily when KSP updates, you can't tweak video recording settings (but then again, they're very well optimised.)
  7. ...Nope. Haven't seen you before.
  8. This thread really kicked off IN SPAAAAACE!
  9. You step up the landing to floor 537; This room has floor-to-ceiling windows, and you can see the Space Center from them - but something else is also outside, heading right for you... ...oh my. (that was technically one sentence)
  10. ITT: We carry out a normal conversation, except at the end of every sentence, you must add IN SPAAAAACE! You can also post a word, object, concept, movie title, or anything else - abstract or not - if you wish, IN SPAAAAACE! Let's get this thread started! IN SPAAAAACE! http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/RecycledINSPACE
  11. I'll go one better and also post the description for my first. I'm playing my game out as an evolving narrative based upon the events that follow each launch. I appear to be subconsciously channeling Cave Johnson for my descriptions. No restarting flights. No debug menu. No mods (oh god there's so many to choose from nowadays) Here's a photo of the craft. I decided to keep it sane. It is, after all, the first real rocket the KSC has built in my universe.
  12. Happy to see you missed me. If inspiration strikes, the art will flow - just give it a little time, I suppose. Man, it's good to be back!
  13. I'm returning to the community! In celebration, I wrote a short comical piece for you. This took about two hours (The art, not the writing! Sheesh.), and I would have made it into a proper sequence, with more than one panel and good pacing, but I realized I don't yet have the luxury of time or skill to do that. Anyone (Cap'n Skunky? You still run that comic? ) may use the text attached to this to make a well-paced comic strip. Of course, if you're gonna use it I humbly request you give credit where credit is due... and that you go to the effort of either PMing me for the text or transcribing it from the comic yourself. I love you guys.
  14. Decided to make myself a "proper" Mun Lander. Launch album: http://imgur.com/a/2a7YW
  15. Just got back from a short break. I am now drooling. You're awesome, Rareden.
  16. Again, that's docking ports. They're made to be weak, though.
  17. I'm right on the other side - Perth, and in the outer suburbs. But even with that I'm about 50 meters from the Telstra hub for my area.
  18. Okay, it seems the non-loading images are the ones hosted on certain servers of imageshack. I can see their links by viewing the page source, and they won't load. So yeah, being in Australia is incredibly annoying for internet. Assuming that's the issue here. The ones I cannot load: http://img16.imageshack.us/img16/6567/kirrim.jpg http://img716.imageshack.us/img716/7685/munw.jpg http://img534.imageshack.us/img534/9749/exploringkerbin.jpg The rest of them load fine. It's real strange. EDIT: Having done a little googling, I believe it's just that imageshack and Australia do not get along very well. Rareden... Would it be at all possible to have an alternate imagehost available? like minus or imgur or maybe dropbox? I know it's a hassle, but I have never even seen that last image.
  19. Firefox. I'm also in Australia, so depending on where you're hosting 'em it might be something on my end. Such as the horrible internet infrastructure.
