  1. This question is mainly for those who post lifters to the Spacecraft Exchange. Is there a mathematical way or a mod that can calculate your maximum payload to e.g. 80km, or does it all involve just trying for yourself? The reason that I'm asking is because I'd like to upload a lifter series to the Exchange, but I don't know their payload capacities.

  2. Its nice but not practical (haven't download it but just judging by the pics). If you can build this (and your still determined to make a Paris Class frigate aka the forward unto dawn) then you can make a scaled down version of it.

Just think smaller. But if your computers really that bad (if you made this it can't be that terrible) then make a smaller version and get someone to test it

The Forward Unto Dawn was a Charon-class Frigate.

  3. Ok, lets see here.. 135 "Manned" flights for shuttle, and what was it????? oh,yes.. ONE unmanned flight...

While the Buran might have "talked the talk", the shuttles "Walked the walk".

The only reason the STS made 135 flights was because NASA and Congress had their heads too far up their asses to notice the extremely overpriced budget for the shuttle. The Russians on the other hand, noticed this after the Buran's first flight and cancelled the project as it was too expensive.

  4. Hello fellow kerbonauts! I'm not much of a modeller or game dev for that matter, I hope I one day will be. I'm really excited for this project though, like where it is going, so many awsome additions :D! But I was thinking, maybe it would be cool to have a telescope observatory a on the edge of town. Maybe on a little hill with a road leading up to it a and a guardpost at the entrance.

Quite a good idea, if I say so myself, but it'd have to be at least 20km away due to the haze of the city at night.

    EDIT: at least 20km
