  1. Haven't had any problems with RasterProp before and don't seem to have any lag in the FusTek IVA but, FusTek is the only thing I have that has the transparent windows. The lag is worst on launchpad spawn and teleport into orbit, dipping to the sub 1 fps range. Once the camera readjusts itself in orbit frame rate hits around 5fps. Vessels without windows seem to do well. Ive got a 560 Ti and 16GB ram so KSP usually runs fine.

  2. Try taking out the MLI Blanket textures, as InsaneDruid hasn't updated those to DDS yet.

    At most only a ~30MB reduction in ram usage, hmm, still have Active Texture (aggressive) loaded after pairing down mods while troubleshooting "out of memory" problems. That may be the reason for the meager savings or part of the problem.

    *EDIT*

    Removing Active Texture Management (with the MLI Blanket removal of previous step) yields ~100mb savings (With FusTek and dependencies loaded).

  3. Ive been lusting after a modular variant of the lander for quite a while (BahamutoD and someone else was working on it a while back). Have thought of attempting to knock off the 15 years of rust that has accumulated on my 3d modeling skills, unfortunately my day job burns me out on tech work to the point editing config files is about all a can be bothered to do end of the night. There a big difference how I was doing Auto-Cad modeling and the copy of 3DSM I have trough work. Probably need to go through the Lynda.com tutorials during lunch.

  4. I agree that the Warehouse should be much more expensive, given that it is supposed to also include a rotating magazine rack for my upcoming FusTek FLEXrack payload boxes.

    As always glad to see this a bit closer to release than back when the FLEXrack project went belly up! now all i have to do is cross my fingers and wait for BahamutoD to make a missile rack or get off my duff and figure out all this 3D Studio Max > Unity > game process.
