  1. Oh, dat star. Kerbol looks beautiful and it demands that I get a craft as close to it as possible once the update sees release.
  2. That assumes that the continents have the same area of land as what we have on Kerbin. If these continents are the Kerbalverse equivalant of Australia in size then they'll still be small without being tiny. We'll just have to see what happens when the revisions are done.
  3. Now I know I'm not the only one that keeps thinking of Dagobah when "bog planet" is mentioned. Anyway, the revisions to the new bodies should be interesting. I wasn't even aware that the blue moon had any visible land at all...unless those islands weren't included in that dev screenshot.

  6. It's probably because of the way the normal map was made. If it exaggerates the lines then they appear wider than they really are. Compare this, with little additive effect to the lines that separate the hull plating, to this that make the same lines look more like trenches around the plates.
  7. It turns out editorLoop01 is even in 0.8, I'm not sure if it's in 0.7.3 since there's no mirrors for it. Something else I found in 0.8 was an industrial (Not the music genre) ambience track. However, it doesn't loop and the sound of what I'm guessing is a turbine turning on and off throughout the clip is very annoying.
  8. When its temperature is twice as high as Kerbin or Mun? Its orbit brings it closer to Kerbol than Kerbin or Mun does, it moves slow, rotates slow, so it has a lot of direct exposure to Kerbol for prolonged periods of time. It shouldn't exist the way it does. Yet it's there. If that green planet is a green gas giant, then it's a green gas giant. This isn't our universe anyway, as it's been said before.

  10. I have come to the realization that Wild Weasel sorties are fun as hell. And then I came upon the fifth mission, sinking a destroyer battlegroup in the F-16C, five meters above sea level. You can see the CIWS platforms firing at you.
  11. You all know it was already said how Kerbol\'s system is going to be made. So bringing up concepts for bodies that we don\'t even have in a system that was already said to be close to the solar system is just silly.
  12. About the change to atmospheric rendering, is it an increased color gradient or does the aura now show at a greater distance?
  13. Makes you wonder what\'s in those SRBs to give them such a bang. It took this strip to make me realize that Jeb\'s eyebrows are very Amarao-ish. Jeb\'s aren\'t fake though.
  14. I had a much better screenshot of this (Or so I thought) with three of the AIM-120s in-flight, but the game folder seems to hold no more than three screenshots at any given time. I did say I wanted to see the ACTIVE in JASDF colors; I wasn\'t expecting it to be me that made it happen. As far as the base goes, it\'s pretty much done. Though for completeness\' sake it could use the Japanese roundel and some sort of tail code or squadron marking. Making the damage map for this would be a nightmare. I don\'t even want to try that.

On the Desura screen, click on your account name, and there\'ll be a list of tabs like the one seen in ModDB, Summary Blog Friends Groups Games Mods Videos Images Clicking on Games will show the games you own. I haven\'t had any crashes in my time playing, except for the one time I went into Debug Mode and crashed an enemy Draken I took control of. 8) Electrosphere had other releases, but the Japanese release had a lot more content (Deeper storyline) that was cut from those versions.
  17. Exactly this. Although I also want to see these done in JADSF colors. The F-15S/MT+ in that drawing isn\'t too far off from it either.
  18. The number of updates mean nothing. The more code you\'re keeping piled on for the game to read, the longer it takes for it to reach the end to do one thing. The result would be that the game is slower and requires more optimization. And woo-hoo spelling mistakes. Who doesn\'t do that? Get over yourself. :
  19. Then leave and come back when the game is finished. You obviously can\'t handle the way Alpha-stage development works. Craft compatability has been broken more times than I can remember, and it\'s only going to continue at this point. And let\'s have backwards compatability in Alpha and bottleneck everything. Real smart.
  20. Additional aircraft for this week\'s update along with some game mechanics, reading them gives me the impression that they\'re possibly debug functions (Generating ammo, hitscan weapons, etc). Two of my favorite test aircraft ever, the YF-16/CCV and F-15 ACTIVE. 8) Edit: As far as I\'m aware, the update isn\'t actually applied to the game patcher yet.
