1. Registered on the 8th of September, 2011 here. I've been mostly active the whole time, minus the last few months.
2. Yep that seems likely whats happening, my address isn't gmail but its running on my inmotionhosting site which has fairly tight email servers, so it probably got killed coming in. You can just hop into IRC and get them to activate you, I did, just took them a second. Not sure who will be on late in the day/night though.
3. Yes, I know to check the spam folder, its not there.
4. So I registered but received no email, and the support email listed on the registration landing page is bouncing back. I registered after you said you had fixed it, so maybe not.
5. Hey guys Kerbalstuff has went offline. There is work ongoing on a new replacement site for it. For now I added some mirror links to the latest version; They're on the front page. As for work on the mod.. there isn't any right now. Firstly it's wait and see for what will happen in 1.1 and what will have to be redone. Secondly, Life continues to be interesting. Thankfully my health is good again, but it disrupted things greatly and the end result means I have to look for work again, for the 1st time in a good while. Sadly, making mods for free doesn't pay any rent. We'll see what free time I have once the next update comes around
6. Thanks for the work towards keeping things running guys. I added links to the Valerian and 52k.de mirrors for my mods. They havent had updates in a while so not many downloads, but if it does start using too much free free to shout at me or remove the files and I'll host them elsewhere. And lemme know if there's anything else I can do.
7. If you don't know why Roleplaying is forbidden, you simply haven't been around long enough to know. Consider yourself lucky. We do not speak of those dark days. Also, please try to make links redirect. Its absolutely the worst when old search results in google or any old links you find are broken.
8. I'm still on the mend guys, and also busy in real life life, so I haven't had a chance to mess with Novapunch yet. I didn't even get a chance to participate in the experimental test this time either. So unfortunately, it'll be a while longer. Sorry
9. Not dead, but not much to do before 1.1. Oh also I've been in the hospital for three weeks now recovering from a very bad infection and it'll keep me from my desk for a while (sitting is not fun) so you'll have to be patient for now. I shall return.
10. That looks far too big to actually fit on a mk1-sized fuselage and still actually fit a kerbal properly. Also, replacing a fighter jet cockpit with a leerjet cockpit is only going to make all the people who used them as fighter jet cockpits angry at you. Oh, and you break thousands of crafts Makes no sense to replace it, just add a 2nd cockpit.
11. Yeah the engines all have the 1.0.2-level heat setting on them, ive yet to adjust them for 1.0.4 levels, so a config edit will be in order.
12. Well I haven't posted anything in a while; I've sort of taken a bit of a hiatus from KSP and especially mod development. I've had plenty of other stuff going on and haven't had the motivation to dive into another set of balance changes. I think this mod (and Novapunch) is in a generally playable state, and I'll continue them eventually.
13. Its also older than Earth, so it can't be 2.0
14. As the Russians (and Ronald Reagan) say: Trust, but verify.
15. Well none of what you said there is true. I guess we're done here.
16. If you're talking about me, I'll pass on the crow since I never said any such thing. What i said was that there was -zero- evidence that that shadow was Dragon while there was plenty of evidence that the entire vessel was eviscerated in the explosions. Mostly because everyone was going on and on about a miracle dragon rescue. So today's announcement is the 1st information about dragon surviving we've seen beyond a bunch of fervent wishing by fanboys and a bunch of others who no actual knowledge (myself including) vastly over-analyzing the video. Yes Dragon survived. That shadow was still a piece of literal garbage anyway/ And this is exactly why I quit arguing about it.
17. Lex Luthor disabled the escape tower, duh. He has plans.
18. I haven't ever set up hotrockets for NP, someone familiar with the mod did it (and it was included with hotrockets, not NP as far as I know) so I don't know that I'd be much help without picking up the mod, maybe eventually. I'm guessing the flame bug is related to those engines not having a proper config for hotrockets, but it's just a guess. --- I expect the thernal config settings need updating for 1.0.4's thermal calculations, especially if its the nukes that are having issues. Shouldn't be too major.
19. There is probably a few minor tweaks to be made to a few things, but I have pretty much no dev time for KSP right now. I'd be more likely to get stuff done if there was a list of things, because I really don't have the time or will for further playtesting atm.
20. M-Vac, short for Merlin-Vacuum, the 2nd stage engine of the Falcon 9, they basically cool everything off before it begins running since its a cyrogenic engine.
21. You know what, forget it. YOU guys make an assertion about it surviving, I disagreed and stated that there is no evidence or official statement to back your claim. You don't care, which is your right. It matters not one iota in the end, so I'm done wasting time on the matter, please don't waste yours addressing me about it further either.
22. Man, that took over two hours. Seriously slow. You want to see my face when I read that a guy that wrote an article for NSF said the same thing you guys did, with no additional citations from an official source or any video or photo evidence. "Putting quotes around things, while proper when quoting what was written in an article, does not make it any more official." - Tiberion, June 28th, 2015, KSP forums, Science Labs section. Mostly my face was bored, though I did roll my eyes a little bit. You know, two hours ago when he posted that.
23. I don't need to prove a single thing, my statements align with what NASA and SpaceX said, and what we see on the video, a rocket exploding and leaving only a disparate cloud of small debris pieces. No obvious signs of any substantial objects falling away in any camera shot. You are basing your "speculation" on two things, and 2 things only; 3 seconds of a roughly trapezoidal shadow flickering in front of the exhaust plume, well before the rocket broke up in a meaningful way. Gwynn Shotwell saying they had contact with Dragon "after the event" - nevermind that she also said they had contact with the 1st stage after the event too; why are you claiming it survived to fall into the ocean as well? As for why I am trying to "prove" it; Look back through the thread and find all the comments about it "surviving" or having aborted or anything of the sort, there was far too much of it. There's no use abiding misinformation, whether intentional or just via mis-interpretation. It is a sure thing that Dragon was destroyed because of this accident. It it only slightly less likely that dragon was destroyed in the atmosphere along with the rest of the rocket. It's possible it COULD have detached and fallen into the ocean to its demise, but we have no evidence of that and plenty of the other. And that is reality.
24. Really? What about the huge fireball from about 0:18 seconds onward in the slowmo video? And then another explosion at 1:12-1:13 and then a big one at 1:25 from which nothing emerges but a rain of tiny pieces with vapor trails?
