  1. Ok, I'll admit it. I love mods. You guys creating these mods are great! I love building an ISS that looks like the ISS! I love having rovers with robot arms and robot cameras & robot things! But what I don't love is how all these fun mods make KSP crash every 20 min. I know the guys building KSP don't want to spend their time fixing all this free stuff. Well, then don't make it free. What if the KPS development team had 1 guy who just took the most popular mods and made sure the worked perfectly with the rest of KSP and didn't cause it to crash. What if there was an iTunes like system of paying 99 cents for these perfect mods. I'd pay it! To know that all the mods I want would work together and not crash KSP. I to know that if these mods crashed KSP that I could complain and that someone would then have to fix them. ya sure I'd pay for that! No problem. KSP development team, there could be a big enough market of people wanting stable working mods that it could pay for 1 full time developer. Not everyone wants vanilla KSP. But I think lots of most of us want our own perfect little space program, and probably enough are willing to pay for it. I know I am.
  2. Hi Guys, I really love Mods! I've added all sorts, some work, some don't and some just cause KSP to crash, and crash, and crash. I'm not getting tired of all these crashes. I know it's not the fault of the coders at the KSP secret bat cave. So I'm going back to stock....and maybe staying there. My suggestion is with each update of KSP add at least one of the most popular mod to the game added as a standard feature. This would at the very least increase the types of parts. (After MechJeb is there anything else people want except adding more parts?) Personally I would love to take a screen shot of the ISS built in KSP and not be able to tell that it's not the real thing (and not have it crash KSP).
  3. Looks like the .23 update broke something. The rover no longer moves and the UI from moving the arms is no longer visible.
  4. Hi Guys, For me resources is much more of a draw than enjoying a multi-player game. I also play WoW and get all the multi-player fix I need from there. But having a reason and a way to look for something on other worlds seems really cool. As a side note, and I don't mean to hijack this thread, but I'd also really be interested in being able to build large complex space/moon/Duna stations without having huge amounts of video lag. So, enhancements = really good, but optimizing = really good too!
  5. Just want to say that I love the look and details to the DSL Pandora rover. But when landing it acts in a strange way. Its as if the center of axis is when rolling or pitching is 20m outside the body of the lander. This makes it really hard to land. Once its on the ground it's great. I hope you can fix this.
  6. Hey Guys, What do you think about this enhancement... Astronaut Experience? So what if the more times kerbal flys into space and the longer they're there the better they get. Less stupid, more courage or both?
  7. I feel your pain brother. I've had what seem to be random explosions so many times. At first I thought it was all the space junk I left in orbit or bad engineering on my part or that it's a undocumented feature to add excitement to your space program. I've have sock parts sitting on the launch pad just explode. The thing was just sitting there. Not powered up or anything. Then BOOM!! So now I zip up my save directory after I finish any major building session. So now at least I can restore to a known point. Oh, I wouldn't trust F9 "Quick Save" to function correctly. I've had times where I would hit Quick Save several times during an evening of space station building and when I go to restore to last save it restores something I saved days before. But it's still a very fun game.
  8. Hi Guys, I think Subassemblies are a great help. But I'm either not using it correctly or I've found a bug. I'm putting whole rockets into subassemblies. Then I just build the probe/ship I want to throw into space and attach the rocket from the subassemblies. The problem is that subassemblies that have items (rocket firing, stages separating, things doing stuff etc) in stage-1, stage-2.. etc blends in with the stage items from my probe. This then causes all sorts of things to go wrong. I would like that items that are in a stage from a subassemblies be added as separate stages below any that might be existing in the current project. Currently they are blended together. How can I do this now or how can I put this forward as a bug report / enhancement request? Thanks
