  1. The reports of my death have been greatly exaggerated... Sure, no problem, as long as you fix the spelling ;P Hope to see some updates as well.
  2. I absolutely love this addon! The only features I hope will be added (unless I\'ve missed something) are to be able to choose a start and end position and make everything toggleable (for example the rotatrons).
  3. Reduced the model slightly, and added another download link, let\'s hope this stays up. If someone has any suggestions as to how to add particles, feel free to post.
  4. Heya, sarkun; Great work! My suggestions would be support for extendable parts, and the ability to change what key is used for each part (easy to code in). (Just saw that this was already supported, sorry!) Other than that, 'axis' points would be cool, for spinny stuff. Also, if you have the time to model, as well, I\'d like a 90-degree landing gear (couldn\'t figure out the arm_config).

  6. Bumping my old question: Anyone know how one would add a lens flare to a light object, trying to make them for my nav lights. Any input is appreciated.
  7. 1. Do you mean the illumination effect for the lights or the models themselves? For the next release, I could resize the models. If you mean the illumination, I can change the default values for the next release. For now, all you have to do is change the value for color (ex: colorR = 0.5). 2. For the icon, I\'m not sure if there\'s anything that I can do about it right now, apart from switching to another default icon; since there\'s no documentation for adding new icons yet, either. Definately a good idea for later though the suggestion about the icon switching to a 'lit' icon. Adding it to TODO. Thanks for your input.
  8. (because of non-existant forum skillz, no image here; see below) Credits goes to: Guybrush (For helping me trying to make some sense of C#) and N3X15 for giving us the basics. CUSTOMIZEABLE POS/NAV LIGHTS Comes with four models: White, Green, Red and Blue navigation light. Can be found under 'Decals'. Activates by default with the 'L' key (can be changed in each cfg) Toggles between five modes: Defaults are: On (Cannot be changed), 1 second interval, 5 second interval, Epilepsy mode and Off (Modes 1-3 can be edited in each cfg). Colour for each model can be changed (also in the cfg), the higher the number, the brighter the light. (Default 1) NEXT/FINAL VERSION: The reason this isn\'t ver 1.0 is simply because we have not figured out a way to make lens flares or particles. In the next version they will be included, also customizeable with size, colour and intensity. New stage icon (Possibly change between lit and unlit) Flare/Particles More models NOTES: Activates on Part Start, so put the navlights in the first stage (The parts are color coded) Sometimes, you have to press the key a few times for it to change mode. The source code is available in the rar, feel free to use it as you wish, as long as you give credits. Also, feel free to post any comments, bug reports, etc. EDIT: Sorry about my absentness, guys.   15. That could work, as a quick fix... If I can figure out how particles work, and where they\'re spat out at, and so forth... Ultimately, when the scripting is added (providing I know how, or can get help) I want to make them toggleable between 4 or so modes with a button (Slow strobe, Fast strobe, Constant, or Off) on each ship (if possible). So, I\'m crossing my fingers and waiting for now...
  16. Okay, so I\'ve made a few navigation lights. How would one go about starting to script them for strobing and such?
