  1. (This isn't directly relevant to computer building, but I assumed the mods wouldn't want another thread. The title also says "All questions acceptable", so I'm going to put this here.) (This isn't really the problem. Well, it sort of is.) I've recently been having an issue with my computer, mainly that the start menu and several default Windows applications no longer function correctly or at all. The desktop also takes a very long time to load (upwards of 5 minutes) and the hard disk seems far slower than usual (only at < 30% usage constantly) and just... Takes longer for everything. After
  2. Windows 10 x64 uses less than one for me, and 16 GB should be enough for almost everything. Also, this should be moved to the computer build thread.
  3. IIRC, there's a setting for this in the Config file called conic draw mode or something similar. It changes the behaviors of interplanetary (Though I guess it's any object. Inter body?) orbit lines. - - - Updated - - - Heres a link to another thread on the same topic.
  4. So the 70% memory is.referencing the RAM overall, not just what KSP can use? Guess I'll have to install ATM.
  5. Realism Overhaul and a couple little things, the error.txt shows that I have > 2400 MB free, and only 70% memory used. Unity Player [version: Unity 4.6.4f1_99f88340878d] mono.dll caused an Access Violation (0xc0000005) in module mono.dll at 0023:1011940a. Error occurred at 2015-09-02_173852. 6. Every 5-10 minutes, KSP will crash. There's also a slight pause every few seconds while in the atmosphere, but I think this is unrelated. Where should I upload the output log and/or error logs? Pastebin and the forum itself just crash, and Dropbox doesn't let you read without downloading. Edit: Dropbox is here, anyways https://www.dropbox.com/s/8tezve0rrlchdmb/output_log.txt?dl=0
  7. If I do it, it would be later on, depending on the requirements for some upcoming games, and I would get a new cooler then, most likely.
  8. 110, I think, at maximum. So the total is near 300, and the PSU is 500. Should be enough, even if I overclock a bit.
  9. The graphics card is irrelevant, I have one already that will be installed. This will, though, function?
  10. So, I'm finally buying the parts today, here's the list. Did I miss anything? Edit: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/Gj4RXL Pasted the wrong thing Edit2: I already have a graphics card, a GTX 650 Ti.
  11. So if I get the i5 4690k (Which can be overclocked) (This one seems better than the 4670k, for only a dollar more [Amazon sale] is that correct?) and install it in this motherboard, will it be overclock-able, or does it require something else of the motherboard?
  12. No, the only way to do it would be with either struts or some docking-port shenanigans.
  13. For Intels, only the -k ones can be OCd, right? Edit: And what other gain is there from using a K?
