  1. You're probably not alone, i've had my fair share of frustation with them. For my helis i prefer to fly with sas open, autopilot mod goes nutz with helis, you should also need to put just enough steering force via right click menu on rotors, too much or too low will make helis unstable.

  3. Oh dang, that means i messed up something. I deleted that placeholder texture and moved zero texture to zero folder. But everything looks normal so far.
  4. @blackheart612 it's not a big deal but i wonder if you've realized that there is another zero cockpit texture in x1 cockpit folder, zero folder has one placeholder texture, you probably forgot to move it?
  5. Hello all, I wanted to make some short informative (visually ) videos about planes i made for a while and today i decided to make one. Making videos is bit time consuming than i thought even though i literally used built-in video editor in Windows 10. It's pretty basic. I'll be making few more then i'll see what's next. Upcoming planes (highly possible ones) ; F-5 tiger, B-24 liberator, P-51 mustang etc.
  6. i've been updating my old crafts lately, first the f-104 and now the f-5. f-104 works flawlessly but there are some works to do on f5, mainly on it's flight characteristics.
  7. I was wondering if i could make some B-24 wannabee and result is quite satisfying to me.
  8. Dont take my word for it to work but i recently had something bit similar. Try deleting your settings.cfg file in ksp directory (back up first of course), it may work.
  9. I've realized something, some of your cockpits use png textures with fairly big size, wouldnt be better if you use dds textures?

  11. I'd be very appreciated! I found your mod today and i must say it made me very excited till i've seen incompability word btw @blackheart612 has several parts in his ap+ that can use variants, how does he do it? maybe there's a way to do it in older versions too.
  12. Does anyone use this mod with 1.3? I've read you need 1.4 for nosecones etc but can i use the mod if i remove them?

  15. I've been trying some odd looking designs in ksp last week, though i must say it was so exhausting that at the end i stopped most of them at %90 and enjoyed flight to space. Can you guess which planes are these?
  16. I dont know what others would think but i'd suggest something like this, since it'll be an early cockpit, it's better to have more panels on windows. I'd love to but sadly my ksp turned into very special build with my own configs, textures etc, without my mod folder, nothing will look or work same.
  17. What's this based on? I mean no offense but it looks bit harsh, though i totally support this type of cockpit in AP+, I've been feeling the need of these when building basic seaplanes, bushplanes or cessnas. Maybe you just need bit smoothing and little details. I can recommend this sexy boi for inspiration; (sherpa turbine) As for my own request I've been in need of parts like these i drew; I think wing parts or fuel tanks (or both) would be extremely useful for builders like me. (would have been when i was building my xp-67 lookalike) Anyway, it's all this for today, good luck & have fun, thanks again for the amazing parts you brought to this community.
  18. try world stabilizer mod, it slows down spawning sequence so things dont crash like they used to do.
  19. I did a quick replication of stealth planes thanks to a new mod i found.
  20. On paper, No. In practice; kind of. They dont create bugs and problems, they work like every other parts, wings generate lift, cockpits dont create absurd drag etc. Only issues i've is (i've been using them with far for a long time) control surfaces dont have configuration options like aoa and stuff, they're in very basic state, i think they dont stall like stock parts either. That's one of the reasons why i dont use control surfaces as long as i dont have to. But when you create planes like this, Airplane plus is a must, you cant do it without it.
  21. I kinda finalized my draken project. It was a wonky project since it's quite impossible to get it right on wings and air intakes but im still proud of it.
  22. I dont want to put any pressure on you but i think it'd be better if you could just add an airliner tail section like this I mean a curved tail unlike flat triangular tail we have in stock game.
  23. This morning, a picture on twitter made my old fantasy reborn again; Nuclear Jet engines! A fancy idea to think about. We used to have one in the past but Porkjet kinda quit developing it so it buried in the past now. I wouldnt mind having something like this in KSP, heavy as hell engine that provides thrust at extreme ranges.
