I launched my first ever interplanetary mission today in Career mode. I'm new to the game, and this was the first time I left the local Kerbin system

Using the Science Jr or Mystery Goo CU, have an option to start a long-term observation (or something along those lines): - While you do other missions, this will run in the background on a space station, or a ship on its way to another planet. - When the time's up, have the user get notified somehow, so they can record the data or transmit it. - This will give more meaning to making space stations around the solar system by generating lots of science (for later-game technologies maybe?)
