  1. Working on a video featuring the history of the series right now. I'm still on the look out for a meaning to the 'HKA' acronym. I'm pretty sure I'm going to have 'Kerbin Advancement' or 'Kethane and Aerospace' though I've no idea what to use the 'H' for without resorting to 'HatBat'. Any ideas?
  2. I wasn't happy with how the regular cacteye telescope didn't have a visible lense, meaning I wouldn't have been able to do the shot in which the telescope reflects the stars. It looks a little funky but I'm pretty happy with how the asteroid day telescope fits inside the cacteye telescope. To clarify: it's the latest version of cacteye I could find whilst filming. It didn't seem to be entirely working though.
  3. Really enjoying the cinematics, especially the animated short. Never thought I'd see something like that in this thread. Made a new video myself, hoping to do a longer film soon.
  4. The militarized style makes this perfect for my videos actually. Removed some of the brighter colours, toned down the green and added a little 'HKA' to the back. Amazing suit @-ctn-.
  5. Camera tools is working fine. I didn't use it in the new video though as I'm not a big fan of how it smooths out keys. The explosion was actually caused by a bug with Time Control. Pausing the game during slow-motion would cause all loaded craft to spontaneously combust. Pretty cool bug
  6. The update for Time Control just came out. Slight technical difficulties but the update should mean I can now begin filming again. After months of waiting for 1.1, completely reconstructing the save from scratch (with fuel values, broken parts, artificial debris, mission times and dates) and @ScriptKitt3h kindly updating everyone's submissions. The Kethane Station is back in business. (As previously mentioned technical difficulties). EVE Reboot + Stock Visual Enhancements + Scatterer. Funky colours are done in post though.
  7. Thanks so much! I can continue doing stuff like this now. You should really make a new thread for your work.
  8. Request: For the full 1.1 version of Camera Tools could you consider looking at how Kerbcam did smoothing? As far as I know the compound mode in Kerbcam took into account all the keys in a path and they would all influence each other throughout the playing of the path. In the Camera Tools, when set to the smoothest setting, it still feels like it will play one movement from key to key without much influence from the keys ahead of it. It's somewhat hard to explain but Camera Tools seems to complete one transition then do the next with smoothing inbetween. Whilst Kerbcam compound mode would weave the keys into a more graceful and combined movement. Thanks for making sure a pathing tool is still available for KSP filmmakers, it really does mean a lot.
  9. A slightly more interesting view. When you have lots of objects like this it really does a great job of showing how orbital physics work.
  10. Yes, and you're welcome to submit them. Thought I might share this image of Kerbin orbit after episode 23: rip.
  11. New craft aren't a concern for me right now. I'm just focusing on getting my game in working order. Majiir handed over a licence for Taniwha to update the mod, so it's an official release. Although I like some parts of the stock resource system, I prefer Kethane as it's more straight forward. It's also the namesake of the show, which certainly counts for something.
  12. It looks like I should be able to continue work on the show in (hopefully) a few days. I've got enough working mods now to open up the save in 1.1, though it's not in a very good way. The next thing is to wait for usable versions of the last couple of mods to come out; shortly afterwards I can get to work fixing everything and eventually complete the battle for Kerbin. I forgot to mention that a 1.1 compatible (and working!) version of Kethane has emerged recently and I intend to make full use of it. I'm sure those imprisoned kethane miners will be very pleased, not least because it's the namesake of the show.
  13. Waiting on necessary mods right now. Doesn't matter. If you choose to use an older post then you need to link back to it and do so every time you update it.
  14. Can't answer questions like that yet as I don't have a working install right now nor can I keep track of your craft. For as long as I can remember the rules have asked that people keep everything in one post. Without you having done that it will be impossible for me to use your craft.
  15. I can't give you any numbers but the map in episode twenty-three will give you a good idea of how the battles are going to be spread out across the continent. Meaning the engagements will be kept below unbearable levels of parts. Saying that it was still incredibly difficult filming what I've managed to do already, I'm pretty sure 1.1 will solve that though. The MU likely won't meet any counter attack as GMI's orbital presence isn't looking so good right now. Without intel from above GMI will likely have to focus solely on holding back any direct attacks. GMI is also ok with being on the defensive right now as hinted at in episode twenty-four for secretive reasons.
  16. lol, whoops. Still waiting on mods by the way. Tried getting a new install up and running yesterday but still some part mods and fairly important plugins that haven't updated yet. Hopefully it won't take too long as right now I'm only after the bare essentials needed to load the craft files and have another crack at fixing the old save.
  17. Congrats on getting the 2000th post JT
  18. It was actually my recent update from 1.0.2 to 1.0.5 that broke it and it's been broken since. I believe it was the move over several versions of BD Armoury in one go that broke it. It makes no difference though, I'm still going to have to remake it so I might as well do it for 1.1 and not 1.0.5.
  19. Although the stable release would be helpful, I'm really just waiting on mods to update. It seems nothing survived the new version. It's also going to take a while to relaunch everything, as per usual the save was broken by the update. Not to mention I don't know what I'm going to do about all the craft shown in the last episode that no longer work in the new version of BD Armoury. Trust me when I say that actually filming and editing the video is a very small part of what goes in to releasing an episode
