-Anything manned leaving the local Kerbin system requires 1 hitchhiker per 2 kerbals. -No clipping -No mods except for graphical improvements or audio things like chatterer.

Let's put this in a nicer, less egotistic way...

Remember when "Flappy bird" blew up and was all the rage (In more ways than one)? -Everyone wanted to play Flappy Bird. -The creator of Flappy Bird decided to remove his program from the marketplace so no one could have it. -He is entitled to do that. Its his to do with as he pleases, it belongs to him, no matter how much some fans wanted it. Did I skim the thread properly, is this the gist of the controversy here? So and so doesnt/didnt want certain mods/repositories deleted? -
No, I'm not even a fan of their content.

So it begins....
-
Oh totally forgot about that too!

Confirmed it was 2015, and on the actual 2015 April Fool's, everyone on the forums became a moderator. Sort of. Oh and people began remaking their avatars in crappy ms paint form

let's take a moment to remember last year(or was it 2 years ago? Time flies...), when mid March squad announced they were moving to (iirc) pay access forums and 140 character post limits. Being as it wasn't actually on April Fool's, and community sentiment about squad was low at the time due to various complaints about some things, many fell for it and the fallout was heavy. Looking back at it all now, my inner troll is proud of the treacherous plot, despite my being upset at the time. But nevertheless @SQUAD, keep your shenanigans in check And everyone else, keep your eyes open for any tomfoolery...

Im 100% certain I speak for everyone when I say the community prefers to play entirely stock, and with no mods. Not even one that changes the in-game font. Yeah, without a doubt.

I second this, and oops, I've accidentally tagged @SQUAD themselves I understand not wanting to crowd the system, but there are definitely some things that could be added. I would like a (about gilly sized) comet slinging through the system for one, and a second gas planet with moons. Also I never did get to visit that magic bolder, as it was mostly before my time, so throw that back in. Aside from that, surface improvements would be great. caves, caverns, geysers ect...

Per the wiki, " Version 1.0 was released on April 27th , 2015 " -
I was into this for a bit, should try again. My only success was in my dream saying "I did it!" before waking myself up in my excitement Thanks for the link to the lucid dreaming site.

thats cute, but you know what i meant. We already chill fuel to condense it, there is still a max point at which you see no real life efficiency increase.

What are your close calls with low fuel?
r4pt0r replied to KerbonautInTraining's topic in KSP1 Discussion
My first manned interplanetary mission was an ike landing. I don't play with any numbers, just stock trial and error, and knew I was rather strapped for fuel. Set up a direct intercept return to kerbin from ike after a successful landing. Hit the atmosphere with less than 2 units of fuel (This was before stock reentry heat). Watching the fuel gauge tick down as the maneuver node got closer to home and not knowing if I'd make it is still one of my favorite moments in ksp. That's also what cemented my view that ksp should never have a stock dv calculator. It would be a shame to remove the suspense from missions like that, to just read a number and know "yep I'm good, I'll make it". Math is stupid anyway -
thats all legit as long as they dont clip fuel tanks into fuel tanks. You cannot put a gallon of milk into a gallon of milk, for example.

KSP 1.1, performance, multithread or GPU physics

But thats not true. The game has run noticeably better and better each iteration. -
iirc, kasuha spent most time helping in the gameplay questions and tutorials subforums.

Usually there's a few orbiting a gas giant. -
I miss @Kasuha. He was incredibly helpful.

What kind of vacation? I need to know if you spent hundreds in order to play ksp on a cruiseship.

You are wrong, eeloo would make an excellent gp2 moon. With the new horizons success and data we can then have a better Pluto analogue as well. -
Life support can only be added to the stock game if they add some windows on the map screen so we can easily see how close certain missions are to starving to death, along with probably some alarm clock feature. It will also need to auto stop timewarp when missions are approaching the food event horizon so-to-speak. But here is my problem with this sort of stuff. With time warp I can usually do a jool mission in an hour or so just landing a probe on a moon or something. I personally only do one mission at a time(not counting my perma-bases or stations), so I warp for years at a time depending on my destination. So if I say hey I'd like to get a nice screenshot of Vall, I would have to also do a few missions to replenish my moon base and spacestation(for example, really any live kerbals will need upkeep while I would rather be landing on Vall), during the multi year warp. That becomes more of a pain than I would like for my game, personally. The way around this of course would be eternal greenhouse things that produce food over time, but that still essentially locks out any convenient long distance missions until the tree is (presumably)complete.

Now that clamshell fairings are stock, I will fiercely agitate for the last things KSP needs to be complete. More interesting surface features. Specifically Caves, sinkholes leading to underground chasms with frozen lakes maybe? They of coursewould be special biomes for the science. In the VAB, the ctl-Z undo feature needs to be better. We need a dedicated undo button to click. This is imperative. More music variation. Music for each SOI. and special music for reentry/entry on atmospheric bodies. Some of it may have already been made
