  1. Prepare the 378 gun salute....or rocket salute. Not sure Kerbals have guns.
  2. Some kind of Alloy of Adamantium and Mithirl. Made by space dwarves. I only assume cause I had a main sail come off at launch and fly right into the VAB and it was unphased.
  3. Haven't had to do that yet. One of my Mun Missions ran out of fuel on the way back into Mun orbit and I have to use the RCS to raise my Periapsis and save the crew.
  4. You just really really really ruined someone's day somewhere...eventually.
  5. I'm Working on a project I call "Probe it, Probe it all". I'm trying to Get Satellites orbiting every Planet (and soon, all planet's moons). I have Kerbin (duh), The Mun, Minmus, duna (which was a bit of a pain as it was my first Interplanetary venture), Eve (Which happened when I missed a node for duna and found it would be easy to hit Eve on the trajectory I was going on), and dres. I caught a break with duna though and was able to orbit Ike for a bit for science before getting over to duna. I was pleased. Tomorrow is my last day off for work for a bit and will be spent trying to get a crew to the Mun (and back) and probing the rest of the System. Seriously, I have landed like four maned missions but never been able to get them safely home. I have rescued Jeb from the moon twice now, (and Jeb and Bill were sent to get another pilot back and got stuck, leading to an unmanned rescue of all three). I have made it to and from Minmus with ease on the first try....The Mun is a fickle mistress for me.
  6. Yeah, when they said "Hidden retro rockets" I was thinking something similar. I was not ready for the bomb like blast that happened. Also when the talked about the de-orbit burn lasting 4 minutes I thought "Wow, that is a really long burn"...Too much KSP I think.
  7. Other than all the times I staged wrong, My first Minmus Probe was designed in such a way that I found I need more fuel to land. So I went back and switched out fuel tanks but didn't move the struts down. So it landed nicely on the engine with these sad little landing legs sticking out the top...... The other was just last night I was trying to send a refueling station up into orbit but It was a horrible design, it got stuck in a sub par orbit, and I later found out that I had no idea how fuel transfer works cause I had put the coupler in a place where it could not transfer fuel. So when I sent the rocket up to fix the orbit I found all this out, and then fixing rocket couldn't even push it into the orbit I wanted....The whole Project was scrapped due to my immense ineptitude. Literally everything I could do wrong I did wrong. Gonna go now and try and do it right this time.
  8. I agree. I haven't been this ridiculously into a game in a long time....Like years. My friend asked me a few days ago "How do you win?" and I just stared at him.
