  1. OP, please take my point score off the first post. I have cheated twice. I used unbreakable joins and no crash damage when landing on Duna, I hacked my orbit when sending the station west to east, and I used hack gravity many times during the building of the Mun base.
  2. I decided to try my own Jool Grand Tour (previously I had skipped Laythe). Don't want to take up the whole page, here's the rest: (I have cheated this one too.) (I am sorry to admit I cheated on this one.)http://youtu.be/Fd3i0kisbSI
  3. What if- as you got higgher into the atosphere, your thrust ddecreased and your isp increased? Like switching from liquid power to ion midway?
  4. Finally got this done... I cheated this one too. I am sorry to admit that I cheated on this one. I used 0.24, with Kerbal Alarm Clock. It was all one launch, no refueling.
  5. The only crafts you need to weigh are the ones that are going to refuel ships that have already left the Kerbin system for the first time. As for WH40krules, seems legit, you have won a whopping 2 points. http://i.imgur.com/jq29mSa.png
  6. Wow! That was fast! I'll send you your badge as soon as you give me the mod list.
  7. Twitch is fine. But if you don't edit it, it is not, in my perspective, "of good quality", and is not bonus-point applicable.
  8. Davon supply maodule: I would consider any method by which you aquire free fuel, whether Davon or Kethane, is not permitted. If you are considering this challenge, I hope you take the time to check your engines. 400 isp is for any and all conditions. Even though a nuke is 220 atmo, it still cannot be used in atmosphere because it had 800 vac. Can a NORMALLY over 400 isp part be modded and used provided its ISP is 400 or lower? I don't know why you would do that, but okay. Are we allowed to launch craft for orbital assembly via docking before leaving Kerbin? Yes. There is no rule saying what height your Kerbin station may be at. However, all refueling deducts points from you.
  9. THE GRAND 400 CHALLENGE: You get one point for every celestial body you plant a flag on, not counting Kerbin, Mun, or Minmus. You will receive a badge with your final score in your sig. Rules: 1. You cannot launch any craft containing any engine/part or combination of engines/parts capable of producing an isp of 400 or greater under any conditions. Modded parts are allowed provided they follow this rule. 2. You cannot launch any craft containing any kerbal that does not end its existence by being recovered from the surface of Kerbin. "Cheating" and Modding: Because I know some people will insist on doing lengthy Grand Tours and don't want to relaunch things, some cheating will be permitted: 1. The cheat/mod must give you no advantage you could achieve without the cheat/mod. (Magically replacing your Tylo lander that doesn't have a ladder with one that does is okay) 2. All cheats must be approved by me (Cake) before being used. Mod lists and their functions must be submitted to Cake before beginning the challenge. 3. Part clipping is always allowed. Proof: Ample screenshots (landings, launches, transfers, etc.), or even better, YouTube videos. Ships: 1. One ship* may leave Kerbin for every planetary system (e.g. one for Jool, one for Duna, etc.). After it has left Kerbin for the first time, it cannot interact (refueling, etc.) with any other ships that have not yet left Kerbin for the first time.* *Refueling missions are allowed, but they are only allowed to bring resources and Kerbals. No bringing an extra lander. -0.001 points per ton of these crafts that are placed on the launchpad. Refueling does not cost you points if the ship to be refueled has not left Kerbin for the first time yet. Bonus Points: 0.5 points for every celestial body landed on with an SRB-only lander 5.0 points for Grand Tours (only one ship leaves Kerbin, land on all celestial bodies excluding Kerbin, Mun, Minmus) 0.5 points if you make YouTube videos instead of screenshots (must be of good quality) Mun and Minmus are applicable for points if the ship that lands on them was launched by an SSTO.
  10. Can you do extraplanetary missions without nuclear engines, jets, or ion engines?
