  1. Nice Do you think you could add it to KerbalX.com where it might get more visibility?
  2. My dear Professor, might I humbly draw your attention at the Procedural Airships ( http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/99132 ) a certain Radar Guy From Teh Mun has let loose on creation? Might they not even be an alternative to those Hooligans who provide uplift to your water-and-air-going ships?
  3. Wow, this looks amazing... Especially with HooliganLabs being not really compatible with 0.90. Would you mind if I create a package for CKAN?
  4. Unfortunately, those two aspects of Bananas conflict each other as they provide exactly the same file names. We could try to come up with something like we did for the RSSTextures, but for that, I would need to read up the specific configuration used there (which gave the user the mentioned choice )
  5. How could CKAN be viable at all without being able to install Bananas all over the Kerbol system? To alleviate this shortcoming, I took the liberty of creating not one, but two, banana crates, allowing the discerning connoisseur to chose what size to furnish the snack crates with ckan install BananaForScale-small or ckan install BananaForScale-large
  6. Wow, this is a really cool feature. I could already imagine a contract set teaching people how to properly set up communication networks
  7. could you type "id" (without the ampersands) into the terminal and paste its output here? If you see "root", then you are in trouble, kind sir! If not, your terminal did inherit everything it should.
  8. It is specific to the US/US-KAS issue. The mozroots problem is caused by mozroots installing the certificates only for the user you are running the program. So, if your Linux user is "Sambo", you have to run mozroots while you are "Sambo", and also run ckan from here on as "Sambo".
  9. Excellent, thank you. Now the netkan file gets inflated correctly on my local machine, which means that the robot should pick up 0.4.5 pretty soon(-ish)
  10. Thank you for your decision to stick around. But may I ask you to kindly revert your latest commit which removes all the sources from your github? Your code is too useful to the community to let it die
  11. Exactly. The last comment I see on the release page ( https://github.com/taraniselsu/TacFuelBalancer/releases ) is: Updated for KSP 0.25
  12. CKAN would be your best bet. There seems to be an error in the netkan file for this tough. I'll have a look at it. Executing: mono --debug netkan.exe NetKAN/NetKAN/ContractConfigurator.netkan yadda yadda yadda Unhandled Exception: Newtonsoft.Json.JsonReaderException: Invalid property identifier character: #. Path 'identifier', line 4, position 5. at Newtonsoft.Json.JsonTextReader.ParseProperty () [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 at Newtonsoft.Json.JsonTextReader.ParseObject () [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 at Newtonsoft.Json.JsonTextReader.ReadInternal () [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 ------ Issue found, while the release has been created on github, there is no actual zip file attached to it. I'll notify jrosssignal per PM as well.
  13. No. Please don't do that. Really, don't do that. Please for the love of $KRAKEN, don't run CKAN as root. There is absolutely no reason to run ckan or any other game-related software to run as root. Please run ckan.exe as whatever user you normally use for your daily entartainment, but NOT AS ROOT. On the other hand, if you run your desktop as root, who am I to argue?
  14. Tracking / answering directly on the github issue, to avoid making this thread explode
  15. Nice. This almost, almost, makes me want to scrap my current game and restart
  16. You can explicitly override the license in the netkan file. That's what I do if the entry at kerbalstuff does not match the canonical list and I can't motivate the addon author to amend his/her/its listing.
  17. Cool, I'll set up a 1.2 ckan then ( https://github.com/KSP-CKAN/CKAN-meta/tree/master/Fusebox ). I cannot promise that I get around to provide timely updates though, as indexing curse-only addons are a manual thing right now.
  18. Would it be possibly at all for you to upload Fusebox to kerbalstuff.com as well? I think it would get better visibility over there too Also, would you mind terribly if I package your mod for CKAN? This effort would also benefit greatly if your mod were on kerbalstuff, as that site provides much richer metadata for packaging purposes
  19. Also, put your Saves directory on Dropbox. I created a directory in my DB drive, and then made a link from DB to my KSP folder. (Linux/OS-X: 'ln -s', Windows: 'makelink.exe'). Works wonders for ease of mind
  20. But... But... It just wants to be helpful...
  21. Amazing stuff, TriggerAu... Is this a full HTML renderer you are using to show the images or "just" a static image?
  22. Would be an Alarm when Remotech connection becomes active / goes away be possible? In my current game, I have no communication network yet, so I had to fly around Kerbin a few times and visually check when would be a good time to slow Time Acceleration to check for connection availability...
