1.
-An Eeloo colony.
I've done that in 23.5 stock, I don't have the pics anymore, though. It was actually pretty easy, I even had a mobile rover base for about 20 kerbals there.
2. Procedural parts, they should've been included a long time ago. They wouldn't need to be completely procedural (except wings) but just come in 4 sizes with fuel combination of your choice and maybe a paintjob of your choice.
3. Like Streetwind said, there's a mod for that and it works really well. It also helps with the SAS overreacting iirc.
4. Yeah, I've done pretty much everything imaginable, too, including a lot of crazy challenges and some whackjobian projects and have gotten bored of the game too. Didn't play it for the last year or so and nothing new came out in the last few updates for me. I'd have some incentive to play again if Squad incorporated some diversity on the planets. Or axial tilts. Or weather. Or more anomalies. (How's this not a thing? 70% of my time playing KSP has been spent travelling to/exploring anomalies, ridges, mountains and poles but mostly anomalies.) I guess U5 update will renew my interest for a bit though (plus the upgrades to the awesome Bahamuto's Armory).
5. Landed on Kerbin using an asteroid as a heatshield + landing leg/impactor of sorts.
6. So do we. We memorize it by connecting the capital's name with the name of the country, nothing more. You can create a deeper understanding by actually visiting the city and getting to know it. If you did that with a parrot and kept telling him the name of the city, he would recognize it and name it if you showed him a picture from the place you visited. The same as you.
7. 12/12. If you were to ask me about the author of the Polio vaccine, I wouldn't know but the other choices were obviously wrong. The demographic data was pretty interesting though, so thanks. Parrots definitely could. Some could probably learn all the capitals in the world and react to hearing the country's name by telling you its capital.
8. Too lazy to do that. Might be an interesting experiment so go for it but why would you want multiple spaceplanes with lower overall cargo capacity in orbit (2x wings weight)?
9. Definitely this. My learning process was: Make a rocket a go straigt up. Fall down. What? Look up online that I need to go sideways, along the rotation preferably. Orbited rater easily the first day. Tried to go to Mun, not enough fuel with my crappy skills. Found asparagus staging on the forums. Landed on the Mun on the 3rd day. Improve and miniaturize to go everywhere eventually. Trying out thigs is the most enjoyable part of the game, don't deprieve yourself of it.
10. I chose 90 % as the game is basically finished but missing some important things: As mentioned above, planet detail. Still no reason to visit the planets other than sense of achievement. Better atmospheres (clouds, temperature, wind). If the goal is boring then at least the journey needs to be detailed. Load on demand. No better time to do this than now when they're reworking large part of the code. New planet(s).
11. Which is quite sad as according to published papers, nuclear energy is by far the safest source of energy, even more so than hydro or solar.
12. Please Squad, port KSP to some sort of biochip so I could play KSP while I peel melons in my washing machine.
13. But you could have only one instead of that. I use TweakScale so I don't have those problems.
14. Like 5thHorseman said. If you can set it up right, it's simply better. It's also nearly mandatory for asteroid tugs or at least by far the easiest way.
15. Then you'll need to use Laythe to aerobrake. It works just as well and is far safer.
16. No, I don't see that happening. They're fairly new and there are many other parts and other things to do before anything like that is even worth considering. Plus I rather like their design.
17. Google led me to this: http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/98178-NASA-Adaptable-Deployable-Entry-Placement-Technology-%28ADEPT%29-by-OLDD-%2826-04-14%29. Don't know if it's up to date.
18. I doubt even one kerbal head would fit in any Mk1 cockpit. Fitting two in there...
19. I was thinking that some "story" contracts would definitely improve the game and I'm probably not alone. One of them would be the long a unanimously coveted magic boulder. After upgrading the tracking station to max level a series of contracts would become available: Find the source of strange radiation near Ike. Recover science from it. Bring the boulder into Kerbin's orbit Attach a science lab to the boulder ...or something similar. Even just having a unique asteroid pop up there would be a good thing as the previous easter eggs really livened up the game. Of course adding new ones would be just as good.
20. 395 MB since I no longer use KSPI. It runs very stable though. Edit: Apparently 414 925 656 B since Windows doesn't know the difference between MB and MiB.
21. Maybe they'll be able to keep each player's vessels physics local and just transmit their state. That would mean that only your things are simulated and therefore the only griefing could come from someone actually colliding with your craft. You could have a squadron of 300 part planes flying with no lag.
22. I will finally play again. I skipped the 1.0.x completely as it didn't add anything substantial and mods weren't updated for a long time. The 64 bit, new wheel physics, less bugs and new parts sound really great!
