  1. no it's not, I only ensure that the parts LOAD in stock, I have stated many times that they will likely not be balanced at all. I made most of my mods before career mode even existed so once it came out I only added basic support to the configs so that the parts would at least load. I only actively maintain my parts for RSS/RO and somewhat RP1
  2. you are posting this in like every single part mod thread. Clearly all of these mods are not broken, the answer I gave you in my other thread applies here also. EDIT: the answer also applies to any other mod I work on so don't post this same question in my other threads.
  3. well considering that i've never seen that ever before and I don't have the problem in my game, I can't help you. You probably have some other mod installed that's causing that to happen.
  4. ignore it, it's not a real error. The textures exist in other folders. I make the mod size smaller by keeping all shared textures in one folder instead of having many duplicates in each folder.
  5. my test install for RO is on 1.7.x and I have no issues
  6. if you are using RO/RSS you can use engine group controller, if not, well you are out of luck.
  7. my guess is the ignoring of the RO release version and trying to install it on 1.7.x or something similar. Although RO does work on 1.7.x but you need to force ckan to install the 1.6.x versions of the dependencies that haven't been updated yet.
  8. They were removed for the old atlas parts when the new ones were about to be released in the Ula pack. Since that's no longer going to happen both sets of configs have been abandoned. If you want the old ones try looking in an old ro release for them before I removed them.
  9. you are using the stock craft files instead of the RO ones... The RO ones are clearly label RO in the name.
  10. The third stage fairings are not missing, I made them into a separate part from the third stage for more realism so that you can separate them after igniting and separating the stage. You need to add them manually now when building the craft. As for the flipping, I'm assuming you are using stock, I can not and will not help people fly rockets in the stock atmosphere sorry.
  11. The plume works fine, you installed something wrong or you are reverting to the pad. When you revert to the pad instead of the VAB when using smokescreen it will often break the upper stage plume of whatever you are using. It shouldn't matter if you think it has low thrust, it is the correct value. The Cygnus uses the BT-4 engine which gives 500N of thrust. I'm not going to change it.
  12. You aren't missing anything. The mod was updated and parts renamed and some unnecessary ones removed. The craft file for stock is very old and I don't maintain them anymore and I forgot to remove them when I updated the mod. You'll need to just made the rocket from scratch. I only maintain my mods for RO/RSS, not stock. I only make sure that they load in stock, but anything beyond the parts loading I can't guarantee.
  13. No because of the way fairings work in KSP. They need to attach to a bottom node on the base and ONLY the base to separate properly. This means they aren't attached to the pod itself. To separate like IRL during that particular abort you'd need to have it attached to the pod in ADDITION to the base and when separating it the fairings would need to not separate but stay together but still separate from the base. It's incredibly complicated to do in ksp, I'm fairly sure impossible in stock. You'd need multiple decouplers and node attach points on the same part, which means you could no longer stage the fairings off. This means the invisible sep engines wouldn't work which are required for fairings that separate the old way and not procedural generated ones. Basically you have two options here, make 2 fairings, one for use when not aborting and one for use when aborting. So the short answer is no, the long answer is no. If you want it for that one mission modify the parts yourself to use for that specific purpose, but they won't be regular fairings anymore then.

  19. The verniers need to be placed in pairs and rotated at 90 degree angles from the previous pair. They only gimbal on one axis. Take the 2 that don't work and rotate them 90 degrees and they will work.
  20. That's almost certainly not related to RO at all considering RO just rescales the those particular parts. Try the same thing in stock to see if it still crashes. If it does then you need to talk to those mod authors, if it doesn't the only possible thing I can think of that might be causing it is that real fuels modules being added to the procedural tanks somehow interacting with it in a weird way(though that still wouldn't really be an RO issue, and I can't see how real fuels would be to blame, but that's the only commonality in mods used in RO that affects those parts outside of rescaling them).
