  1. Operation Crest was to setup permanent science/mining base on the mun. After much construction, Burns, Tests, Fails and General Havoc, We finally managed To make Operation Crest a Success, Not without trouble. Here's how it went and what we did. KNSC's First landing on the mun was the first day of the KNSC's Great Journey. Once we knew that kerbins SOL Was poorly protected and that KSC Before KNSC, KSC Never focused on defending the SOL, Is how we we're formed. So we needed to start with the mun. After KNSC's First Successful Jool Discovery we need to get scientists on the mun to search for anything that may be of importance to us when we cant. For this very reason Operation Crest Was formed, The first of many operations of colonization to come. So our first design was a ship called the Dawn of Space Without very much expirience we did what we could. It was a simple design As a real life one would look like a can like design. 3-4 Lander Cans and 4 Landing legs, On a rocket our design plan was simple: Create the main base part, Strap some decouplers strap the main base part to the rocket that will make it go to mun then once we're in a good enough position get vertical and drop the main base part, We knew that if it was going to fast it would blow up, We anticipated this by putting engines on it so it could control its descend speed. This would be a 3-4 or more launch colonization, All bringing a certain part of the base. Once our final design was ready, We tested it on a test burn it was going good so far, Then we had complications of the descending drop. I lacked to remember to add alot of fuel tanks so we didn't have enough fuel to descend with. The test was a failure. There was alot more failures i won't write about to sake the heavy writing. But finally one design worked the same plan but with more fuel and with things we didn't need just to be safe. So at the end of the mission our base was a success. After tons of explosions we finally got it.
  2. Today we release our first KNSC Mission Report Before you start i want to tell you... That this is a KNSC Fleet Mission Report. (From the fleet "Truth and Reconsiliation" Our first ever KNSC Frigate, And our most prized frigate at the moment) That the truth and reconsiliation is still being upgraded (Updated whatever you'd like to call it) To be better than the last version, We are right now at version #1 so it dosen't look much like a Halo Fleet just yet. As my building skills enhance as will our fleets. Now, Enjoy the report and tell me what i can do to improve mission reports if anything can be improved KNSC Frigate "Truth and Reconsiliation" Operaiton JOOL At the KNSC Command Base (KSC), Our fleet the truth and reconsiliation Has Transmissioned to us a message. They've run across a new planet... Jool. (In our empire we haven't discovered jool yet) It's a neonish green gas giant. With an atmosphere. Ten times the radius of kerbin, (In Halo They called it "Reach" We have yet to classify a name for it other than Jool) They say they are not entirely sure if theres a surface or even if it's habitable. After we received the transmission at about 20:10 (Thats 7 AM ingame if i am correct i'm not good with military timing so i just made up a number) By the time the transmission ended we had enough information to transmission back to the truth and reconsiliation, That they would be able to depart from orbit with jool at any time, While we built a spy probe to search what we can about Jool for 24-7 Surveillance. Although we could just send a rocket with troops inside of it and land it but we just discovered it and we don't know for sure if Jool even has a surface. (I read somewhere you can land but the KNSC's way of doing things is different) At about 70:20 We discovered a wierd reading from our spy probe. It was later decoded and the reading was using morse code, Only one thing. KNSC Uses morse code, And whatever was out there surely isn't human. We know this because when we had our AI Read it it was morse code being decoded by a network that isn't human and cannot be decrypted by any of our AIs. So whatever it was, It surely needed investigating. When it was night on kerbin our AI's had a stroke of luck and finally decrypted the reading signal. Turns out somehow some technology down there or something was making a wierd reading by a combination of the atmosphere of jool and the technololgy making the signal, The outcome of this is a wierd signal that is very unstable and reads off of near fleets or any technology near, When it found the truth and reconsiliation's signal, It started reading morse code. Even though we should see what the technology is we won't risk sending troops down there to investigate. After a few days of our probe orbiting jool We finally had enough info to try and send troops down there. Once we somehow landed on a gas giant we found what was making that signal... A downed spaceship, Not by humans... Different metals and designs. Technology so advanced that we can only classify it as "Enemy" We we're able to recover it and have our scientists scan it and figure out what they could about the ship. Where it originated, It's origins, Human or Enemy, Or Precursor. Situation is still developing as i write this, Hope you enjoyed and yeah be looking for other reports soon!
  3. Not exactly because we don't just build rockets we're also a ksp empire/clan. So i felt this belonged in fan works because we're not just rocket builders
  4. KNSC - Kerbal Nations Space Command This is a kerbal space program empire/clan (Whatever you'd like to call it) Based off of Halo's UNSC. (Great game check it out if you haven't heard of it, Which would suprise me if you haven't) If your wondering my kerbalton name is: Kerbalton Switcher or Kerbalton Commander Switcher (Perferably number 2 because im the leader of KNSC) We're basically the same purpose as the UNSC. To defend kerbin, And all of kerbalkind from aggressors. When we're not fighting hostile alien life (Please come out with a mod that adds covenent like aggressors that would make the KNSC tons more fun) We search for new planets and anomalies, When we find a new planet (Using mods that add planets) we send some guys down there to investigate it and see if its hostile, After getting a green light or red light (Green = Uninhabited and Friendly Red = Habited and Enemy) we eventually setup satellite to give coverage and network then after we have sattelites setup we then setup a permanent base (Then we inhabit the base with KNSC Science Personnel) And for defense incase enemy agressors find out about the planet we have either some Soldiers or Kerbaltons (These are spartans from halo but with a new name, I can't think of a name so please reply with any suggestions, We'd like for authenticity for it to have something like spartan in it or a word relevent to the best soldiers and the word spartan) To defend the base also we outfit it with guns to fight enemy spaceship and fully outfited tanks and pelicans especially fitted for speed and defense tons of guns and gadgets, Heck of a show when enemies attack. We also have frigates such as "Forward Unto Dawn" (From halo) and "Infinity" (Also from halo) But with different names (Only used their names for examples). We will probably do stories and mission reports, Also we are most likely going to build and release crafts and have their craft files for download mostly frigates for you to use for any of your needs, Also we may release a pelican build too.   5. I'm unsure about making a refueling station for the reason that i'm unsure how the fuel ducts work, When a rocket or plane docks will the fuel duct automatically start refueling the plane? From the 2 Jumbo Fuel Tanks Into The Docking Part of My Station, Then into the plane? Or do i need something else? If you don't understand the question (Which is fine ) Then here's basically what im asking. Do fuel ducts automatically start transferring fuel into a rocket/plane when docking is established.

  7. It has? I just got this game last year, And i haven't been really looking for easter eggs. So much as trying to land on all the planets. All easter eggs I've found has been from complete Chance lol. Actually i found this one when i was recording for my world war series on YouTube, so i drove over and im like...What the? So i didn't know if it was a Dissapearing easter egg and i didn't wanna have my chance go away, so i immediately stopped recording and took a picture.
