  1. I'm using 1.1.0 and no matter what I do, my game crashes randomly. I can't even get past one launch without the game crashing. I've tried using the launcher to boot the game, and directly booting both the 64bit and 32bit .exe files. The game doesn't seem to take that long loading, and there's no lag whenever the game is in use. I don't have any mods added and I don't have any other programs booted at the same time as KSP. I also made sure that there weren't any background processes that happened to be tanking my RAM. I'm using a Windows 8 computer, but I don't know any other specifications about my system.
  2. Sorry Gaarst, my curiosity trumps your frustration. Have a poll!
  3. Just trying to look at the numbers, please discuss anything down below.
  4. So the whole crashing problem is becoming kinda unbearable, at first it was every other flight but now it is about a minute or two after starting up KSP. I'm not here to just complain, I understand that any new release will have a few bugs but does anyone know how to help with the problem? Also sorry for adding to the numerous threads about crashing problems.
  5. In KSP when I crash a ship, I'll often just reload or revert. But first I check the after-action report to see if it contains any useful info, such as which part failed first etc. In real life they investigate what went wrong, and learn from it - gaining ScienceTM. Real space programs are littered with accidents and disasters that led to improvements later on. So why not gain some science to balance the loss of rep, funds - and sadly - brave, experienced Kerbals. It would give a bit more motivation to allow the failure to happen (rather than reverting) and would also make impactors a valid probe type. Perhaps it could go so far as gaining science by recovering parts from the ocean floor. Possibly a bit morbid for stock?
  6. I was just wondering if someone could take a look at the error log and tell me what's causing the crash. I have 48 mods installed, which isn't a lot compared to some people. I have a 64 bit windows computer, with 16GB of RAM. I get no FPS lag in game, but I get these random crashes to desktop about every 30-45 minutes. They are very clean crashes, sometimes no error message appears whatsoever. One moment I'm playing the game, I blink, then I'm staring at my desktop. Any help would be greatly appreciated. This is kinda ruining the game for me :/
