  2. So. I'm looking for a mod that I once saw on a (probably very old) kottabos mod review. It was a mod that added some very old-style rocket parts for early game. There's very little I remember about it apart from that the mod used a resource called Kethanol, as a kind of early alcohol-based rocket fuel. This mod may be long gone, but if anyone knows what it is, I'd greatly appreciate any pointers. Thanks for your time!
  3. This is one of my best creations: a reusable launcher made with stock parts only. Average payload is between 20 and 40t: in career mode it prevents huge funds wasting, making contracts more profitable and missions more affordable. However, you can boost it up to 70t with some modifications as extra fuel tanks and a few boosters. For a full technical excursus on how to make this thing fly you can check craft's page on KerbalX or the video I made appositely. For a rapid overview I made a Quick Guide album on imgur, which pics are available after the video. Some specs (from KerbalX): Type: VAB Class: lifter Part Count: 110 Pure Stock!! Don't get mad with those fancy mods which just drain power from your gpu... Mass: 282.41t Cost: 159,700.0 (My average funds recovery rate is between 98% if I land ON KSC, 96% if I land in a range of 100km) I hope to get some feedback of any kind. I hope you enjoy! I hope you'll fly safely =.= Upload huge craft files to the space consuming no gigabytes, or just some fuel tanks... ...and no, you won't waste 'em either. Take advantage of re-entry warming up your snack on the cockpit. Get back to KSC in time for dinner. Land safetely enjoying all those balloons!
  4. Though I meant to finish my 0.235 rescue mission before letting myself get started on 1.2, I couldn't help myself. Just starting career, and haven't unlocked much in the way of super-sonics. This one on the Wheesly barely breaks the sound barrier. It does run a little hot. As you can see Jeb is literally glowing with black body radiation.. Doesn't help I've got the cockpit adjacent to the engine. Maybe I should add some radiators. Here's the craft file with the added radiator (not yet Stock). If you want to give Jeb back that healthy glow, just remove the radiator panel (below the cockpit). If you want to give the thing quite a speed boost, remove the parachutes so it'll hit (almost?) mach 2. P.S. I don't think Jeb can get back in once he egresses. The rear stabilizer blocks the port. That's fine, I haven't unlock ladders yet, so he can't even get back up. I've got a probe core in the trunk. Shoot, I just realized I made this for testing my autopilot, so the current craft file has the kOS scrip module, so you'll need kOS. I'll upload a version without it later.
  5. Hey, This is my first post on this forum. I have been here for a while and I didn't really have any question until now, so I haven't made an account. I have many ideas for style of playing. Sometimes I like to play Realism Overhaul and some times stock and there are times when my game is really modded. This time, I am just too lazy to play early game. It would be so good if I could have a station in orbit around Kerbin and some satellites here and there. I was exploring this and other sites about KSP but I couldn't find any save file that meets my needs. There were some but they were either just from an old version or not really what I was looking for. And now what is my question? Is there any place where I can check out or even browse other people's saves? Maybe something like KerbalX. Or maybe some threads on this forum. Thank you guys in advance! Oh, I may have missed the forum section for this question. I am really sorry if I did.
