  1. Simple enough. Your post should be what you reckon Jeb just saw. Everything from a wacky fiction to a somber fact. Doesn't matter whether you made it up or it actually happened in your game, all stories are valid. If it did happen in game and you want to show pictures, please pop them in spoilers so as to not take up too much space on the page. So, What did your JEB just see? ( should be obvious, but just for safety, make sure it is something that is safe for young members to read.)
  2. SAY YES! Just say "yes". Nothing else. Have fun! (Also please respect the forum rules...) (Say no if you're brave enough!)
  3. Allow us to have a fun little minigame to do. I know they played golf on the moon in Apollo 11 so its for realism purposes. Could be really fun for multiplayer.
  4. With Christmas coming up I thought it would be fun to have a game where we can all sing Christmas songs one line at a time. Rules: 1. 1 song at a time. 2. Each player posts a single line from the current song. 3. the player who posts the final line to a Christmas Carol/Song names the next song. The next player will then start with the first line of the song. 4. Standard forum rules apply. 5. One line per post. If you wish to post a second line to follow your current line (to as an example complete the song because you have a fun song to name as the next song) a minimum of 10 minutes must pass before doing so. I will start us off with naming Jingle Bells. Since this is our first song I will give us our first line. Jingle Bells Dashing through the snow. 123812072023
  5. In this game your objective is to improve the rocket prior to you! (Heavy inspiration from @AlamoVampire) To improve a rocket and you can use anyone of the methods below! Methods Method 1. You can post a rocket that is its next evolution. (Atlas 2 gets followed by Atlas 3A and so on) Method 2. If it uses technology used by another rocket (RS-68 for Ares V followed by Delta 4) Method 3. It looks similar ( H1 Followed by Delta II) To make sure the fun and games can continue smoothly we have to follow the rules below. Rules Rule 1. Fictional rockets are allowed to an extent (Things like FAM is allowed but things like Interstellar is not) Rule 2. You must wait 10 minutes since the last rocket you posted Rule 3. Follow the forums rules. Rule 4. Only one rocket per post. Rule 5. No spacecraft this is about rockets! Now I guess I will start us off with the first rocket to reach space the V2!
  6. This game is where you one up the aircraft prior to you. This game was inspired by @ColdJ How do you one up? Anyway you want! It can be as simple as say the aircraft before your post is a 1 engine cessna 182 Skylane and you one up it by posting a twin engine cessna 310R (a propellor cessna) or use a jet if you prefer. You could one up by engine type or by model. By model? Post prior is say a 737-600 you could put a 737-700 then the next player puts a 737-800. You can use any aspect of any real world aircraft to one up the one prior. Your imagination is your limit within real world aircraft. One aircraft per player per post. You may post a one up of yours if a minimum of 10 minutes has gone by since your last post. As for the aircraft, you are encouraged to use pictures if at all possible. You are required to state the aircraft type in either a text only submission or in conjunction with a picture. Your aircraft type call out can be as simple as my 737 examples. All aircraft must be real world aircraft. Standard forum rules apply as well. I will start us off with the first ever powered flight aircraft the Wright Flyer. 133609212023 133809212023 231309302023
  7. This thread is so intelligent it can figure out what theme you are using: you are using light theme. you are using dark theme.
  8. I've played KSP 2 when it came out for about 65 hours and then I skipped all the patches until now. I tried out 0.1.4 now after ~5 months and I have to say that my impression is very, very good. The game is in a very good state right now. I really don't agree with the people complaining and hating - the number of bugs is small and I have not encountered any major problems (except for the parts symmetry issue, which I think is a regression). Here's my feedback (for now): Positive feedback: The UI is in a much better state. I love the Parts Manager speed. Performance is great compared to how it was at launch. Revert to launch and to VAB buttons are working now! The left side menu (the one when you press ESC) works as expected (it was ultra buggy). Working with the maneuver nodes feels good. I did not experience orbital drift around the Mun or Kerbin. The NavBall dark colors are nice on the eyes. Bugs and mini-suggestions: In VAB the translate tool for mirror symmetry orientation is not respected (if I move a battery, solar panel or wheel up the other one goes down) because one part is flipped when placed (it's upside down). (not a bug, sorry, I was in 2 x symmetry mode) Notification keep popping up (lack of solar) and it's annoying. Map view UI is still very pixelated. Limit celestial body zoom-in in Map View / Tracking Station so the camera does not enter the planet. Allow the usage of Space-bar key to pause / resume tutorial video. Right click hit-box is not accurate in Tracking Station for some celestial bodies. Sometimes I have to click multiple times on the Parts Manager "x" to close the window. A loud sound sometimes plays in my right speaker when clicking in the Part-picker in VAB. In VAB when right clicking somewhere to exit the 2D vehicle viewer there is no fade out effect. In the Parts Manager please group parts that have been placed by symmetry (like identical solar panels or batteries) so the list is more compact. If I want to import a vehicle in my current workspace then save it here, I can't see where to select the name of my current workspace file (the other one shows up by default). Wheel collision mesh is still very basic (center of the wheel). I can't create a maneuver node when in atmosphere and game is paused. Please allow me to move the AP / PE node info mini windows by dragging them. When focused on another celestial body I can't time warp to a point inside its influence sphere(from outside). Please increase the right-mouse-button pan speed when looking around the vehicle. If I deactivate an engine I get a "out of fuel" error when trying to create a maneuver plan. I need to be able to press >>> (warp to maneuver) again to go down to 5 seconds from 30 (so I don't have to wait so long). Right now I get the "proximity to celestial body" alarm (which needs its text changed). I will continue to play the game and experiment with the parts. I feel it's really fun to play now. I can't wait for the water / heat / terrain updates. With those in place we're off to the races for Science mode. Great job development team - I'm really proud of you guys and girls!
  9. first funfact: in ksp there are tons of easter eggs second funfact: in 0.14.2 there was a glitch where the space center could go on the mun and was fixed on 0.14.3 third funfact: the mun existed prior to 0.12 and was in the pre public versions specifically 0.2 did you know any of these funfacts? if yes then reply below saying which ones you did or did not know

  11. I lnow its too late as the Title suggests.. but i had a very stupid thougt while at work today and thought i would share it here for you Devs to ponder about adding maybe in the future. My idea is.... A kerbal grave yard for the Brave Kerbalnauts the didnt Quite make it back home, with broken ship parts as the headstones and maybe a small video player linked that saved the last few minutes of their flight, with info about where they died and their misson logs ( how many flights / orbits and jobs and levels). Just so that the kerbals that knew them ( Posibly animated walking around the memorials) and the Director of the Program can remeber them fondly and set off Fireworks in their Honour. As i said its a stupid idea that i think would add a little more Kebalality to the little dude that we see panic each and every flight!! Let me know what you guys think.
  12. This is the Really Really Really Deep Basement. Inspiration was from Really Really Really Tall Building. Here's how this is gonna go. 1. No having floors that send you back up, or far down. 2. No floors that trap you. 3. Floors don't have to(and should not) be related to the previous floor. 4. Don't be ridiculing other floors. This is how we start! I will say floor -1. Next person -2. Then -3, and so on. Let's begin! Floor -1: As you walk down here into the first basement, you see that there are 100+ doors. You try them all, but only one works. It leads to a hallway lit by neon signs. These signs all read 'Hooray, you wasted your time!' You continue to the next floor in anger...
  13. After research,Experimention, and scoping Internet... It's been found!!!! In pause do Up,Up,down,down,left,right,left,right... Enjoy every1!!!!
  14. Ok, here’s how it works: I start with a sentence, then the next person changes or adds a word in the sentence, and then the next person does the same thing, and so on. EXAMPLE poster#1: The big red dog runs along the road. (OG) poster#2: The big blue dog runs along the road. (1) poster #3: The big blue dog runs along the canyon. (2) etc… The numbers after the post signify the number of edits the sentence has had, and OG means it’s the original sentence. LIMIT OF 30 CHANGES PER SENTENCE! Credit to @Catto for the original idea. I’ll start: I love sending Jeb on a one-way return trip to Tylo!
  15. I don't know if this is the correct topic but I dare you to challenge me to do something in kerbal space program you decide what it will be. Im making this for fun and because im currently bored so give me ideas please
  16. THE RULES: You can do one of 5 actions. Say: this is a ______ game. List the rules Change the rules by getting 1 other to approve! Inform a person if they break the rules! You can reset the rules if 5 people agree. After doing your turn, add one to the score and post it. NO CHANGING THESE RULES! I'll go first! This is a weird game 1
  17. This thread is (obviously) to post ASCII art. You can directly post your texts, like this +----------+ | /\ | | || | | /||\ | | / || \ | | ``^^`` | | /\ | | /` `\ | |/` `\| +----------+ or using a screenshot, like this Have fun! (P.S: this is my ASCII logo , don't steal it!)
  18. The title says all. All you have to do is to quote the previous post, even if it has like a thousand quotes nested.

  22. Welcome to the forum game, did you know. The point of this game is to post a fact about a random thing, time, or anything. Post your random facts here. And remember to follow all forums guidelines. Ill start first. Did you know songs from 1924 are copyright free now?
  23. I have an idea for a simple KSP board game, and I think it would be pretty cool.... (<-- Yes, of course I am biased...) Basically, the point is to be the last space program with any funding. There would be a deck of part cards (and maybe cool little connectable models too), Funds, science tokens, and special dice. Each card would have a picture of the part, its name, its cost, its return cost, its mass and depending on the type: its resources, thrust, et c. At the beginning of the game, everyone starts with the mk1 capsule card, the basic fin card, the rt-5 flea card, 25,000 funds, and five science tokens. Also, shuffle the deck! Every turn you could turn in science tokens and draw cards (5 tokens = 3 cards, 10 = 6 cards, 15 = 9 cards, et c.), build a rocket, launch a rocket, or do nothing. If you can only do nothing, you lose. When launching a rocket, you find its success rate by checking a chart for its mass and thrust, and then use the corresponding die to check whether it succeeds. The lowest success rate would have a die with five fail sides and one success side, and the highest would have five success sides and one fail side. If it succeeds, you get funds back for the total return cost of the final stage. When building a rocket, you array the cards in such a way that it looks like an expanded blueprint of a rocket. For symmetric parts you multiply the cost by the amount used in symmetry. You would only be able to build rockets within your funds. You get 1 token for every science unit on the final stage. And yes, you need to do math to figure everything out, but that's good, right? P.S. Ideas and comments would be appreciated, I want to know what other people think. Thanks!
  24. I was browsing on a coding program called Scratch. I foun that someone was trying to make Kerbal Space Program on Scratch. This meant I had joined a group of people that wanted to make KSP from scratch! Like from nothing! It’s pretty big project. The group started to recruited others and work began sometime in November of December. We expect Kerbal Space Program Scratch Edition to be completed in May 2021. However progress is slower than expected. We will try our best to keep our promise though. If you would like to see the progress or complete game go to the link below: https://scratch.mit.edu/studios/27870656/comments/ (Link to All Work and Codes) All positions and jobs for actually making the game are closed. I am very sorry. However you can still help. Go to Scratch and go to the link where all the codes and work is. Ask a guy known as TwistenX to see if you can test out of game in early version. This position won’t be active as much. But you will be cited and given credit in the game. ________________________________________________ Project Director / Supervisor - @TwistenX Physics Programmers - Advanced - @NathanCorporations - @TwistenX - @HermetAnimations - @xAwesomeRyanx Artists - Intermediate - @Ganymede45 - @NathanCorporations - @Hero_Clicker - @TwistenX Basic Programmers - Intermediate - @TwistenX - @NathanCorporations - @Misguided_Ninja - @xAwesomeRyanx - @HermetAnimations - @Coding_pro_27 Music Designers - Beginner - @Ganymede45 - @NathanCorporations Sound Designers - Beginner - @NathanCorporations Testers - No Experience Needed - @legowarrior123 - @Galaxy-Animator *All of the Username names are names from Scratch.
