  2. This addon is a fork of Battlemooses' which hasn't been changed since KSP 1.5 and none of the other contributors are active on it AFAIK. I wanted to bring it back and update it further. The download is available on Cursforge here - https://www.curseforge.com/kerbal/ksp-mods/keyshine The source code is available on Github here - https://github.com/NiamiTV/ksp-logirgb/ There is now also a dev thread which I will be using to discuss progress and suggestions Feel free to report issues, suggest features or contribute yourself! This work is free software: you can redistribute it and/or modify it under the terms of the GNU General Public License as published by the Free Software Foundation - https://www.gnu.org/licenses/gpl-3.0.html Changelog : (v1.5.1 29/03/20) Bugfix: removed a line of code that spammed the console fixed incorrect file structure (v1.5 29/03/20) Minor Update: Now the altimeter (F1-F8) changes depending on if your altimeter is set to ground altitude or sea altitude. A small patch for Corsair compatibility (still not fully functional). (v1.4.1 26/02/20) Structure change: changed structure of archive to simplify installation (v1.4 25/2/20) Rebrand to KeyShine: Rebrand! Throttle keys change colour with throttle (v1.3 20/2/20) Revival: Splashdown animation warnings for low resource on gauges
  3. I would once again like to request Logitech ARX integration with KSP. Logitech ARX software uses a smartphone/tablet as a second screen for displaying in game data and would be ideal for the likes of a "Kerbal Engineer" type readout of orbital flight information or possibly as a display for KerbNet. It runs via Logitech's gaming sofware for their "G" series of peripherals and connects to your phone over local WiFi. The software is also capable of controlling the lighting effects on RGB keyboards so perhaps that could also be integrated somehow, maybe changing the colour of the keys depending on normal or RCS docking control or having the number keys act as a sort of radar altimeter display where each key lit up represents 10M height and they gradually turn the lights off as you get closer to landing. Logitech ARX Thanks for reading.
  4. KSP Logitech RGB Control Allows Kerbal Space Program to modify the lighting on your Logitech RGB Keyboard (only tested with the Logitech G910). Lights up your keyboard to make playing Kerbal Space Program a lot easier. This is a fork of cguckes awesome ksp-chroma plugin - if you have a Razer keyboard, check it out: https://github.com/cguckes/ksp-chroma The mod is still very beta, so let me know if you experience any difficulties when using it. Features Function keys 1 to 0 are only lit, if the underlying action group actually does anything. The keys are displayed in two different colors, depending on whether the action group is toggled or not. The keys for SAS, RCS, Gears, Lights and the Brakes are lit up in different colors, indicating if the respective system was activated or not. The amount of resources in the current stage is displayed on your keypad and the keys to the left of it (PrtScr, ScrLk, ..., PageDown) The color of W, A, S, D, E and Q varies slightly depending on whether you're in precision or normal steering mode The keys for timewarp control are lit either red for physics timewarp or green for normal timewarp Full list of game effects Stylized Kerbal Space Program logo on every scene that does not contain any noteworthy keyboard interaction (pressing Escape to go to the menu not being noteworthy enough to light up the key) In the vessel editor, different kinds of keysets are lit up according to the current editor mode. Control keys and toggleable function keys are lit up in different colors, showing whether the function is switched on or off during flight. Reduced keyset lit for EVA mode Resource gauges displayed on the keypad and the keys above the UpDownLeftRight keys. Installation Unzip the release archive and place the KSPLogiRGB folder in your KSP GameData directory. From either the lib32 or lib64 folder (depending on which KSP build you are using) copy the LogitechLedEnginesWrapper.dll file inside the GameRoot, where the KSP.exe and KSP_x64.exe are as well. Start KSP and witness the awesomeness of highlighted function keys while kerbaling through space Changelog v1.0.1 - Bugfix and added features from master v1.0.0 - Initial Release Download https://github.com/Kaeltis/ksp-logirgb/releases This mod includes version checking using MiniAVC. If you opt-in, it will use the internet to check whether there is a new version available. Data is only read from the internet and no personal information is sent. 5. Hey all, So I have a logitech G940 HOTAS I have been trying to set up for days now, google searches and forum searches have revealed no answers. When I launch KSP and go into settings, I can assign pitch and roll to my G940 and click accept. I checked the settings.cfg and it saved properly: But I also have this entry in the settings.cfg file: What should be shown under input devices? I can bind the joystick properly in the settings but in game the joystick does nothing according to the pitch/roll/yaw indicators on the HUD.
  6. Tried as I might, my joystick is unable to be recognized in KSP. The buttons can be bound, but not the axis. When attempting to bind, It'll say it's there, but dissappear as soon as I click accept, and it will not work in the game. I've deleted the settings.cfg file multiple times, installed the latest logitech drivers and application, even assigned a profile for KSP. If you run the game and look in the settings.cfg it isn't listed as an input device. This joystick works perfectly find in my other games. I've tested with x64 and x86 binaries. I've run up and down these forums and it looks like there's been some issue with Logitech Extreme and Force 3D joysticks. Have these ever been solved?
