  1. Hi, I recently started having huge memory leaks in ksp. I tried getting the 1.2 version back instead, but that made it even worse. It happens only in the vab/plane hangar. It happens when I press ctrl+z/x/c/v or just at regular random Intervals. I have 16 gb of ram, and when I start building(even vehicles with less than 50 parts) It gets more often and often until it's unplayable and I have to save/reload game. My memory usage at a point shoots up from 4 gb out of 16gb being used by the system AND ksp,- to 14 gb being used by ksp alone. I saw people calling these problems Memory Leaks, as I'm not too familiar with this term I'm guessing it means an absurd amount of ram usage :). System specs: CPU-Intel Core i3-6100 --3.70GHz GPU-Radeon RX 580 4gb vram RAM- 4 sticks of Hyperx fury 4gb ram, in total 16 Gb I use an m.2 ssd for my operating system and games that don't take up mutch space(I.e Kerbal Space Program). And a 3tb hard drive for everything else. I tried reinstalling the game, uninstalling mods(helped a tiny bit, but didn't solve the issue completely), verifying the game files, running game as admin. I found some people having the same problem, but didn't find a clear answer to any of them. All of these problems started appearing after the 1.3 update up. I love playing realism overhaul, and it recently updated to 1.3 so did I. But it ended up not as fun as I'd expected it to be. Any help would be appreciated ^^
  2. this is all in 1.4.3 firstly, craft like to slide when landed and not moving, i noticed this and thought it was my craft so i played with the wheel and nothing fixed it, today i noticed on a stream his craft was also sliding, breaks on, all wheels aligned yet it slides for no reason what's so ever it happens at KSC and the dessert runway but nothing seems to stop it unless you have a launch clamp on your plane when wanting to test somthing while stationary before taking off, i've tried playing with friction settings but it does not seem to have much of an effect not sure if this is the wheel or terrain but when you have a craft on a runway they always seem to float, like they're touching but visually it makes the craft look like it's floating an inch off the ground, not sure if that is a bug though secondly KSP seems to have a memory leak, KSP only used a couple gigs of ram for me but i noticed on EJSA's stream he had a big memory leak, Stock KSP used 10 gigabytes!! here's the clip https://clips.twitch.tv/PreciousHedonisticLattePJSugar he also stated it seems to only happen after playing KSP for awhile like EJ or Das (i have not seen Das have this issue as i rarely watch him) also there seems to be rounding error's in the SPH editor (not sure about the VAB), here's the twitch slip https://clips.twitch.tv/KathishEphemeralYogurtAMPEnergyCherry does anyone else have these issues? or is it just me & him?
  3. Hello, i have a gamebreaking problem in my 70+ modded game. I dont use scatter and VE-Mods cause i thought they might fix it, but actually do nothing. Like the title suggests I have mini freezes after like 20min of gameplay and my memory also increases over time untill it crashes or freezes every 5sec. I have win10, 1070, i5 5XXX, and 16gb of ram. I reinstalled the game a few times and verified game by the steam option daily. I also use the 64bit version with force opengl start option. I can upload the "output_log" if someone tells me how. EDIT: Dropbox Link to normal and _x64 output_log Pls help me.
  4. So, the game works fine. It loads at around ~3GB of RAM, and in game it's 3.5 GB. Totally normal, even in 32 bit that would be the case. I'm using 64 bit, and over time of playing KSP, the memory usage slowly but surely creeps up, 4GB, 5GB, up to 6GB before I had to terminate and relaunch KSP as it would either crash the game or my system. (8GB of RAM). No idea what is causing it, I'm using SVE... 5. Hello to all. I am trying to sort out where a memory leak is in my setup of ksp 1.1.2 I am using a heavily modded version that typically will be at 4.8 to 5.2 gigByte and then will grow to 19 - 22 gigByte after leaving on for 4 to 6 hours. Is it possible to show how much each portion (dll) is using? The log file shows all of the dll's, their version and such, so would it be possible to show the initial memory footprint and then be able to dump the updated memory values when a key comb is pressed or some other way. Maybe a popup in the space center to re-fetch the memory data??? I am trying to do it a mod at a time, but whew that will take a long time and might miss some interaction that is causing or might be causing the leak. Anyway, just a thought and request. Cheers DrTedAstro
