  1. I'm pretty sure a lot of people on the forums know about the menace (or annoyance) known as Hurricane Hermine. It has been tracked since August 18th as a finicky tropical wave that wouldn't develop. Now that it has, Hermine is affecting all of the U.S East Coast and is proven to be a party crasher for anyone trying to celebrate Labor Day. Who here has been/will be affected by this storm? Also, this would be a good thread to have some discussions about tropical weather in general. Hermine is long dead, so this thread will now talk about ALL active tropical cyclones. Currently Active Tropical Cyclones T.S. Ian (Atlantic) Typhoon Meranti (W. Pacific) Typhoon I-FORGET-ITS-NAME (W. Pacific) T.S. Julia (Driving meteorologists crazy in the Atlantic) TD12 (Atlantic) Hurricane Orlene (E. Pacific)
  2. How is the weather where you are today? It is a beautiful, sunny morning here and promises to be a gorgeous spring day. Happy landings!
