  1. Ever wanted to look up from the Muns surface and see two Kerbins? Well now you can! This mod adds a binary friend to the Mun called "Leriter" one noticeable feature is, water, plant life, and a atmosphere! One day the Kerbal's, finished exploring Kerbin's moons, so they all prayed to have a new one, then Eeloo, goddess of change, blessed them with this new moon, but Dres Demigod of mischief, tampered with the moon! So be carful, this moon is not its chalked up to be! There will be scatters, that will show the dark history of this moon! https://imgur.com/a/JidyP0l - A poster for the mod! Coming: Soon-ish
  2. I am using Grannus Expansion Pack and I've downloaded it via Ckan but whenever I open KSP none of the planets appear! I've created new save files multiple times. Could someone give me some info/help? Thanks a lot!
  3. When Tomgard Kerman pointed his telescope at Proxima, he thought a smudge was covering his telescope. When attempts to remove the smudge failed, the Kerbal Astronomical Union told him that it was actually a large planet. KerbalUniverse - A new universe to explore! The final goal of this project is: A modular universe with multiple galaxies Detailed planets and moons that are very interesting to explore New targets for interstellar mods Download: GitHub License: CC-BY-NC-ND 4.0
  4. This mod replaces the stock Kerbol with a dying system that takes place in the early universe which revolves around Might along with its far companion Forever, along with all of its special quirks, including mostly Duna sized terrestrial planets, smol gas planets and more. This is also a my first mod from a VERY long time so expect the quality to not be the best thing in the universe tho i've tried to be my best. Erste Sterne is NOT career/science ready and you should not start a science/career save using this mod Currently it has 1 star 7 (or 8 since binary) planets 2 (or 3 since binary) moons 3 dwarf planets Download: Images: System Layout Changelog: Compatibility Credits: Licensing: Erste Sterne is licenced with Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 International but the sunflare from @Meid is licenced with Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International
  5. Homebound is the official system replacer of Endless Expanse, development is still ongoinging so please be patient As i go along updated for homebound development will be posted here, as not everyone has discord where i previously mostly posted updates Current progress: I'll be posting as i continue developing this system, Stay tuned!
  6. FAR OUT RED SKIES - Red Skies was going to be a standalone mod until the idea of FO came around, the name FO may not stay though. Red Skies takes place in the Luhman 16 system, BUT KERBALIZED. For a while now I have been working on a mod centered around a brown dwarf star which is a star just below the mass limit for hydrogen fusion, so its basically a really hot gas giant. I do have two other mod ideas in mind but wanted to get this one done with first as its been an idea for a longgggg time now. (fyi one of the two mod idea besides this, I have is already began working on) SYSTEM CHART (NOT TO SCALE) INSTALLATION GUIDE: for download simply insert the files within the GameData folder into Kerbal Space Program's GameData. PREREQUISITES: KOPERNICUS RELEASE IN idk yet DOWNLOAD LINK: none yet Follow the post to see when it comes out
  7. Unfortunately I cant post on other topics but KSP2 for now but if its not obvious enough I stopped makin the Dusk Planet Pack but I have got back into modding and am currently making a new mod soon. I got over the textuing hurdles but I am still trying to find better solutions to make textures. Stay tuned for updates (maybe)
  8. As says the title, i'm only really looking for the best of the best, so i have some requirements that the mods needs to fit in if someone has any suggestions that i haven't documented yet, they are: I would prefer for them to have no space engine textures, since it feels kind of cheap, at least for advanced modders; Most (preferably all) of the textures need to have at least mid or high resolution, because i don't really like looking at pixels or bad looking terrain, however it doesn't need to be 8k resolution or whatever, it just needs to look at least a little bit good; All of the celestial bodies added need to have proper descriptions on the tracking station, by that i mean that when i check the "knowledge base" i don't want to see a blank space with nothing written on it except for the usual stuff like, radius, mass, etc, since that is mandatory for any planet mod to work anyways; And it needs to have proper grammar on the descriptions, i'm fine with a few typos since that is basically unavoidable and i can fix them myself on the configs if i want to anyways, such as switching its with it's, missing periods at the end of a sentence, minor stuff like that is okay, although i would prefer the quantity of typos to be low, however major stuff, like entire sentences written incorrectly or even mixing up the description of one body for another that is in a different place (yes, that happens, although i only saw it once, and the mod was simply too good to not put here, hopefully that gets fixed in the future) kind of annoys me in a game about exploring space, i would at least like to have descriptions i can mostly understand and that keeps typos to a minimum. Here's all of the ones i have found that mostly fit into these criteria: Alternis Kerbol 1.7.3 Asclepius 1.5x Corelian 1.11x Dres moons 1.8.1 Eve moons 1.7.3 Galileo Planet Pack 1.12.1 Gameslinx Planet Overhaul 1.4.3 Ghekta 1.11.2 Heracleitus 1.12.2 Kronkus Planet Pack 1.5x Minor Planets Expansion 1.12.2 New Horizons Outer Planets Mod 1.11x Real Solar System 1.8x Xenonclave's Planet Collection Revived 1.7x After Kerbin 1.7.3 Before Kerbin 1.4.2 JNSQ Planet Pack 1.12.1 Kerbol Origins 1.8.1 Beyond Home 1.9.1-1.10x Blinding Light Levels 1.10x EventHorizon 1.7x Extrasolar: Planets Beyond Kerbol 1.7.3 Galaxies Unbound 1.12x Grannus Expansion Pack 1.12.1 Low Light Levels Blue 1.8.1 Low Light Levels Red 1.8.1 Precursors Planet Pack 1.9x-1.11x Seven Worlds Around Slippist-1 1.7.3 Whirligig World Planetary System 1.11.2 Endless Expanse 1.12.3 Other Worlds Reboot 1.6 Real Exoplanets 1.8.1 Strange New Worlds 1.8x-1.11x Are there any good planet/star pack you guys know that is not in this list? 9. Endless expanse: DOT-33 is the first part of an eventual galaxy. The current system (DOT-33) is a binary star system consisting of a yellow dwarf and an orange dwarf, each with their own system. 12. Precursors Overview The discovery of mysterious SSTV signals originating from Duna was a monumental leap in the search for intelligent life. Deciphering the signals revealed The Ignotum System, a previously undiscovered solar system 3 light years from Kerbin. Having recently mastered interstellar travel and hibernation technologies, the Kerbals were quick to launch an expedition to this new system. The trip ran smoothly, but upon arrival.... … Alone among the stars, you are the future of the expedition. Rediscover ancient rocketry and flight technologies as you explore a vast, handcrafted solar system. Uncover the secrets behind the SSTV signals and the alien race that created them. Precursors is a planet pack designed to provide a fresh and exciting experience to players. Stranded on a cold and barren world, traverse highly detailed celestial bodies and never-before-seen environments. Each planet and moon has a distinct challenge and appearance; hike across scalding volcanic mountains, maneuver through massive forests, and battle against relentless gravity on your journey across the Ignotum System. 13. So @Misguided Kerbal made the original Valor mod but it has died and he put the mod up for revival, after a while i decided to take it and revived it SpaceDock: https://spacedock.info/mod/2866/Valor Planet Pack Revived?ga=<Game+3102+'Kerbal+Space+Program'> No pic, no click, here you go Screenshot with scatterer System plan/system arrangement To do list Dependencies Kopernicus and its stuff Anyway lets go to the Q&A Q: Is Valor compatible with OPM? 15. I got inspired by a few things. Gameslinx, a bucket of rocks, and TWG's Arkas development. I've thus decided that I would like to learn and experiment with Kopernicus every day (i can) for 365 days, starting August 11th, 2021. My goal is simple. Make a planet pack that's enjoyable and way over the top, that's compatible with some other big names, *cough cough* OPM *cough cough* and overall just a fun learning experience. For the first few days before the challenge begins, I'm going to try to expand my small brain to fit the universe of Kopernicus inside of it and teach myself the basics so I can make something neat. Any help would be appreciated. Day One; My Birthday: I kicked off this self-proclaimed-challenge with a bang, (or maybe a boom?) Huge thanks to TheWhiteGuardian for helping me along thusfar, I probably bore him to death. After over two hours, plenty of help, and trying to figure out how to convert files from .txt to .cfg, I successfully Created DAWN! the center of my new system. Until I get a home planet made, Dawn will be orbiting Kerbol at a really safe distance (so I don't have to look at it unless I want to) I also started work on a small planet named Prova. Day Two: Today was very busy, with school and some exercise. I had very little time to work on anything today. I started on a gas giant (~7x Jool's size) that will be white with gold accents running through it (and maybe a thin, highly inclined ring from a munar collision) I'm only about halfway done with the config file of it. Maybe I can finish it tomorrow.
  16. Wabi Sabi - Perfect Imperfection The Overview: Wabi-Sabi. A word that has held prevalence in Japanese culture for centuries. A word that holds so much meaning and depth, it lacks a proper translation into English. It means the acceptance of transience and imperfection, and appreciation of beauty that is imperfect, impermanent, and incomplete in nature. Wabi-Sabi holds an appreciation of both natural objects and forces of nature, appreciating austerity, modesty, intimacy, asymmetry and roughness. Our planets easily fit this brand. Instead of embracing perfect spheres, habitable planets, perfect and balanced solar systems, we have a different unique approach. Each of our bodies has something unique to offer. In this mod, you won't cheat orbit around each body, or just observe from afar in tracking station, but be motivated to say "I want to go there for myself", and furthermore, "I want to stay here and keep coming back". Planets are unique experiences. They shouldn't be one off screenshot generators, but full of worth, value, and creativity blended with realism. Everything from a super-kerbin with exotic ammonia based life, to a lonely vacuum planet should have a relatively similar amount of value and unique content. If you want solar systems crammed with content, uniquely hand crafted planets, with plenty of gameplay, offering new challenges and reasons to explore, then this is it. Quality > quantity. No filler. In-depth lore and story that will send you on an odyssey spanning the small cluster of stars you find yourself in, somewhere between galaxies. Coming soon™️. 17. NEW FORUM PAGE UP NOW Project Pile turns to Galaxy Mod 8 months ago, I set out to create an ambitious project known as Trilogy, to which I became very burnt out creating. As an escape from working on the same thing daily, I created Flamed Out, which became my first released mod. After that I began creating new projects and announcing them near daily. It began to get repetitive. Start a new project, cancel a project. Everything fell through. I took a break for a couple weeks. And in an attempt to streamline, I present to you; KIP Systems. My take on a GU style mod. *EXTREMELY EARLY WORK IN PROGRESS* Now, you may be wondering; Where did the name Lazarus come from? Many months of motivation getting less and less eventually caused me to quit modding for a while. I eventually came back with this mod, which is comparable to the story of Lazarus, a person who died and came back to life. 18. As you know, KSP 2 is coming with a host of new planets and moons to explore. I think it would be cool to have a planet pack for KSP 1 with KSP 2 celestial bodies. The planets and moons in the pack obviously wouldn't be exact replicas, and proper credit would be given to Private Division and Take Two. Aside from super realistic terrain and volumetric rings, making KSP 2 planets in KSP 1 is entirely feasible (Rask and Rusk can orbit a barycenter). Any thoughts?
  19. Oh hai. This is a basic planet pack so far that adds a Near-Kerbin binary asteroid, Doppler-Dyva, a Pallas-like two-toned potato, Quazen, and four binary Jool trojans. Basically asteroids not filled by niches such as Minor Planets Expansion. Download here on SpaceDock. This was the old picture of Doppler, once named Onor (please don't deadname it). It's a relic of my past and how I've improved. Requirements: Kopernicus ModuleManager A good computer

  22. Overview After over 2 years of improving and learning, hopefully it is worth the wait to those who watched along the way. I started this project as an innocent curiosity, then a personal project that meant something to me. I wanted to set this one apart from the majority of planet mods. I wanted this to be good; as good as I could make it, and did the best I could with my lil' Macbook; with TextEdit and GIMP. I’ll see to even better as updates come. I hope you all enjoy what I have to share! This pack adds a whole new high-quality star system, Polaris, for you to explore, situated directly above the home system at 4.3 kerbal light years! The system is based on Polaris, but also has inspiration from WASP-12, Mu Arae, and our own Sol. It primarily adds giant planets and their satellites, with more to come in the future. The objects feature various scatters on their surfaces, so they’re not so barren! No pre-1.8 terrain shader either. For those with lower end computers, don’t worry! You won’t need visual mods to see wonderful worlds. I’ve designed it partly with no visuals in mind, but it’ll look even better with them! If Kopernicus Expansion is installed, wormholes will appear that can take you to and fro! SCIENCE NOTE: This is not a fully realistic recreation of the real Polaris System. The real system is quite young, has no detected planets so far, and the outermost star is an F-type, not an Alpha Centauri A analogue. Sorry Star Trek fans! This isn’t a Trek-themed pack. Celestial body list Delta-V map courtesy of @WarriorSabe! Gallery Thanks to @Clonosand @ballisticfox0for taking these wonderful pictures! Required mods --Being a mod that adds celestial bodies, it requires Kopernicus and its own prerequisites. Recommended/Optional mods --Arthur's TiltUnlocker will make Gyro sit on its side! Beware: You may run into some bugs with this. One such is its misbehavior with scatterer. --If you want to take a way of getting there that's less of a hassle, try wormholes with Kopernicus Expansion Continued-er! So far I have the stock system (and by extension JNSQ), Beyond Home, Whirligig World, GPP, Alternis Kerbol Rekerjiggered, and GEP primary. --If you want to get there the old fashioned way, I recommend Blueshift, KSPIE, or Far Future Technologies with Calvin's buffed ISP patch. Oh, and Better Timewarp for your convenience. --If you want a nice home that meshes well with this system, try Beyond Home. If you want to give the lone Polaris system some friends, you cannot go wrong with Extrasolar and Galaxies Unbound. Regarding errors If you encounter a problem, provide a snapshot of your GameData and your logs. I can't help you if I don't know what is wrong! See this thread on how: Mod Support —EVE —Scatterer —Sigma loading screens —DOE —Research Bodies —Sigma Dimensions —Most planet mods. Being a mod that adds a whole separate star system, it does not intrude upon any system replacers, system accessories, or other system adders. Download Github Spacedock Being a first mod and first release of said mod, there might be issues. So just report them and bear with me. FAQ -Is there a way to make the system closer? Yes! There is an optional patch I've included to make the distance 10 times closer than normal -I switched back to the KSC and everything looks all glitchy! What can I do!? The KSC will appear all wonky and glitchy if you switch back to it from a long distance. A simple scene change, like going into the VAB and then back, will fix it! -Is this a system replacer? What's the homeworld? This is not a system replacer, but instead a system adder. There are rough plans for a homeswitch in the distant future. Discord It is not my home server, but you can contact me and say hello on the Kopernicus Discord server! https://discord.gg/XmVp23s Changelog Credits @Exo's Lab - For being an all around wonderful person and very supportive of my endeavor.
