  1. I've had the breaking ground expansion for about a year now and i still can't figure out how to build propellers and helicopter so if people could post either example designs or how to build one that would be great.
  2. This guide is based around the propeller parts - specifically, variable pitch propellers. In @Brikoleur's guide to helicopters, he recommended using servos to change the pitch of the rotors, therefore changing the lift and allowing the helicopter to change vertical speed. The new propellers have built in servos. However I have found them a little hard to understand, so I created this guide. Here is the craft we will be using: The Lux aircraft is not a very good plane, but it is simple. It has 2 counter-rotating propellers. You can make planes with 1 propeller, but the torque fro

Submitting You can submit anywhere from: pictures, gifs, tips, advice, troubles/problems, explanations, compliments to others, or constructive criticism. This post is short and st

A stock, 106 part turbo-jet powered dual propellor VTOL with the ability to fly like a plane too, so you don't just fall out of the sky when you run out of fuel. FLIGHT It's really like controlling a normal jet-engined craft, no vessel switching and with so little engine wobble as to make a brave kerbal weep. Simply stage, engage SAS, throttle up and fly. She does have a slight tendency to tilt backward (the CoM really should be shifted fo
