  1. OK I am in the middle of making a large electric submarine on the PS4 and thanks to some very helpful advice I've managed to get it moving at a blitzing 1.5 m/s utilizing the heavy rotors and elevon 4 I think? The one with pointy ends on both sides in a kind of slanted square shape (if that helps at all). The sub itself is easy but during my now 10 to 12 hours worth of experimentations some of the parts for the propeller have been doing some very wierd things like flipping mirrored and unmirrored constantly while underway which kills off all thrust. Experienced Kerbal lords and ladies of the sea I humbly ask what parts have worked for you (other than jets) and how do you fashion your water whipping propellers to dominate the wet parts of Kerbin?

  4. Hand in hand with BlitWorks and Private Division, we have developed the first console-optimized DLC for Kerbal Space Program Enhanced Edition and a very substantial free update that we are very happy to release for players to enjoy on both Xbox One and PlayStation 4. The first downloadable content for the critically acclaimed space simulation game adds new content to Kerbal Space Program Enhanced Edition, featuring missions inspired by historical events, and a wealth of new parts for players to use across their KSP experience. Historic Missions History and Parts Pack includes 10 exciting missions inspired by humankind’s own space exploration. Now you can spacewalk, pull off a crash landing, and attempt to recreate some of the most memorable moments inspired by historic events. All with our unique Kerbal twist, of course. New Parts and a Vintage Suit This DLC also includes dozens of new parts along with a new astronaut suit, all inspired by the historic Space Race. Players can use these parts and suits throughout Kerbal Space Program. New Launch Sites! Additionally, you will also have the ability to launch your crafts from 4 additional complexes: the Woomerang Launch Site, the Dessert Complex, the Island Runway and a brand new Mun Launch Site, not currently available on PC! Free Update Coupled with the DLC, Kerbal Space Program Enhanced Edition is getting a content-filled console-optimized update that will take bits and pieces of all updates we have released on PC after 1.2.1; some of the ones that people like the most, as well as performance improvements, bug fixes, and more! Kerbal Personal Parachutes Personal Parachutes are coming to KSP Enhanced Edition! Kerbals with level 3 and above experience will have fully steerable personal parachutes. You will be able to deploy the chutes using the cursor or via the secondary radial menu. All part revamps up to PC 1.5 There has been a big effort on our side to give old parts a fresh new look, all with the intention of having a more sleek and cohesive part catalog. While staying true to the game’s original essence, the geometry and texture maps of these parts were completely redone. Some of these parts also include new texture variants to choose at will. Yes, you’re getting the variant switcher too! New Suits Both the recruit and veteran classic EVA and IVA Space Suits have been given a well-deserved overhaul and console players get to enjoy it now as well! We knew that such an iconic element of the game needed to stay true to its identity, so we are keeping its style, while also giving it a sleeker look. And more! 6. (PS4) I've had an issue where occasionally when I try to launch a craft, it will load a completely different vessel. It seems to load the auto-saved craft when this happens. Deleting the auto-save craft will subvert the issue but trying to launch after doing this will sometimes send you to the space center screen, and not the launch pad or runway. It's not a game-breaking bug, but it does get annoying when trying to make modifications to a craft, only to then launch the version with no modifications. Also first post!
  7. I have an mp4 of this happening, but I have not yet found a way to 'create new bug report' on the wiki https://bugs.kerbalspaceprogram.com/projects/ksp/wiki, or to upload/link to it on this forum. The latest post from UomoCapra regarding KSP Enhanced Edition links to the KSP Forums with this line "If you want to continue helping us out by providing us with feedback and bug reports, you can do so through our Bugtracker". The post I refer to is linked below. I would like to report a bug correctly, but I simply cannot find WHERE I should create a new report. Any help is appreciated. EDIT: Perhaps this might show the mp4 I mentioned - Intermittent patches

  11. Guys, I'm a new player, just bought this game on PS4 Pro. I'm having "An error occurred" 2-3 times an hour. Is it me only, or the company knows the case and has a plan to fix it? I report the problem via the PS4 menu as usual. Do I need to do anything more? P.S.The fun fact: I bought it because I've got lags on my latest Macbook Pro with the Steam version. It's almost impossible to play on Mac because of it. So I decide to buy the PS4 version. And now I have this issue.

  13. I've been trying to use the SM-25 Service Module in PS4 version and the fuel flow look fine when I'm building in the VAB, but the moment I save or try to launch it acts like it's out of fuel and it say the engine is oxidizer-starved. When I bring the assembly back into the VAB the fuel flow looks like the tanks are empty until you remove and reseat the it, then the flow looks good again, but once saved or launched the fuel goes out again. The only way i can get fuel to the engine is to run a fuel line from the tank to the Service module body. Also, when you launch with the shroud off the on the SM-25 and you revert back to the VAB it looks like the shroud is off, and it still shows as off in the settings, but you have to toggle the shroud setting to get it to back to normal.
  14. Hi. I've just bought Kerbal Space Programme Enhanced Edition for the PS4 and some of the commands don't seem to work. I have built the first rocket as per the tutorial but 'O' does not engage the SAS and X does not initiate launch. Please advise.
  15. How to Get Into Orbit. When playing KSP you want to aim for other planets and the stars beyond. But when your rocket first launches it doesn't get into orbit. It just go up really high. The back down. So, how do you get into orbit? Every KSP mission starts with the orbit. When building a rocket your rocket should have at least 2,000 dv to get into orbit. I personally think that 3,000 dv is enough if you want to prefect your orbit or do some inclination changes. First build your rocket and make sure you have at least 2,00dv. Then launch your rocket up. Slightly tilt at 5,000m to about half way to the 45 degrees maker. Then continue going up. At 10,000m tilt to 45degrees over time. If you do it immediately your rocket might crash. Go to the map screen and see if your apoapsis make is about 80,000m. Cut your throttle and make a maneuver node at the apoapsis maker. Drag the prograde maker until your periapsis raises above 70,000m. Warp to your node and burn until you get a orbit free of going through the atmosphere. Well done your in orbit. Do all of your science experiments or whatever you need to do. Point to the retrograde maker () and go full throttle. When your have a path of a crash course decouple and point your heatshield retrograde. Wait until you hit the atmosphere. When you the parachutes signs are gray and white release all of your parachutes, jettison your heat shield and land safely. Then recover your craft. ———————————————————————————————————————————————————————— How to Get To The Mun. Biuld your rocket that will take your ship to the Mun. Launch that rocket into orbit. Look for the Mun on the map screen. Make a munuver node and drag the prograde all the way out to the Min’s orbit. You may get a encounter immediately. If not move the miniver node to another part of an orbit or adjust the mover node using the makers. When you get a encounter burn and finish the node off. Then warp to your mun encounter. Burn retrograde at your Mun Periapsis unto you get a Mun orbit. Look for a good Lang in spot to land on the mun. Burn retrograde until your path goes on the land spot. Warp closer to the Mun To 8,000m. Then burn retrograde to kill your velocity. When you over the surface of the Mun make sure you are landing at 3m/s to avoid any damage to your craft. Do science and plant a flag. And head home. Launch your lander out and make a mun orbit. Than leave the Mun and use miniver nodes to get back on Kerbin. ———————————————————————————————————————————————————————— How to Get to Minmus. Minmus is Kerbin Ss Spence moon. It very small and has large mountains and flat plains. It also has very low gravity making it the ideal place to land. First bike your rocket then launch it into orbit. Use the menuver nodes to get an encounter with Minmus. Burn for Minmus and at Minmus periapsis burn retrograde to a stable Minmus orbit. Then land on Minmus. Plant a flag and make a Minmus orbit escape from Minmus and plan a a crash course to Kerbin. Renter Kerbin atmosphere with heat shield first. Deeply parachutes and land and recover vessel.
  16. Today is when the ESA updates comes to KSP PS4 and Xbox and I went to check my KSP on PS4 but there was no update file notification. I was worried so I restarted it and updated the PS4. Still no sign of update. My KSP is at 1.2 when Menuver Nodes where added. Can anyone help me. If yes please help! I really want to play with the new ESA parts but I can’t because the update file for KSP won’t show. Someone please help!
  17. This is a forums where KSP console palyers can ask other console players questions. I think this will be helpful. KSP1.10 is coming to console.
  18. Is there a way to switch focus in the map view other than by clicking on an object and selecting "focus view"? The reason I am asking this is that often times it's literally impossible to click on the object you want to focus on. I don't know if it's a bug, but it seems if I have an interplanetary intercept, if I try to set focus to the CB in question, nothing happens when I click on it (can't even set it as active target, if it currently is not). Another example would be if I had maneuver nodes set up entering the Jool system, and I needed to go back and add/edit/etc., it takes an act of Congress to allow me to click on anything other than a maneuver node icon, regardless of the camera gymnastics I'm performing to try and line Jool up in my field of view.
  19. There's a bug that really annoys me. Whenever I drop a rover off of something like a nearby plane, then fly the plane, land it near the rover and switch to the actual rover, the rover starts floating in the air with no control. It slowly drifts upwards and I have to EVA my Kerbals off of it because it can't be recovered. Recently it's been happening with some other things and really annoys me.
  20. I got enhanced edition the day it came out and I've been loving it, but I've been wondering is it possible to maybe get mod support for KSP on Xbox/PS4? Thanks!

  22. How do you get ducts for the fan blades on console? I use a PS4 and cannot find any duct parts. I tried looking at the motor part action window to see if it was in the form of a shroud but I couldn't find it. I may have overlooked something but I've searched everywhere I can. Has anyone found out how?
  23. Hey so I am wanting to take a main rocket and have a small sub Satellite detach off and do it’s satellite stuff. I am new on ps4 and to the game in general just wondering what to do
  24. I'm playing on ps4. When I do the 3rd tutorial, Intermediate Construction, the game gets stuck as soon as I enter the VAB. Wernher Von says enter VAB. So I enter the VAB. Then once inside he tells me about all the wonderful things we'll be building so, I hit the X button for the next screen. The screen blinks, it says "saving..." in the top right corner but nothing else. I can keep hitting X and it's just more of the same, blink, saving... nothing. I shut down the console, reinstalled the game, nothing works... please help.
  25. This is my first craft I am posting here and a part of my Mystery Inc. Space Solutions playthrough on PS4. We damn near MISS everytime lol This is a stock craft utilizing parts from the DLCs. This craft went through a few evolutions as you can see by the designation and just like Preparation H you will wonder what happened to A through E. The last 3 versions ended up yielding a craft I was truly surprised with and hope to be able to see all of the non atmosphere bodies. It has a full science compliment along with 3 complete sets of science equipment for atleast the first few stops. 2 large drills, 1 large ISRU and 1 set of medium heat sinks at 11% saturation, refueled it on Mun in 6 hrs. It holds 18.2k LF and 220 oxidizer to power the 8 fuel cell arrays...realize this is probably excessive but testing always had skewed results. There are also 4 rtgs to cover keeping everything topped off during flight. It weighs in at just a hair over 150t and with 8 Nervs it has a TWR of 1.97 and 7.2k DV at Mun Launchpad. It was launched under its own power from that location. Due to part count issues and fps I kept this build as light as I could at 123 parts. Fps was the demise of the E3e which did successfully make it and land on Dres. This is a SS of the E3e and its original mining startup at Dres before my fps plummeted for some reason using the drills which prompted the comissioning of the E3f and the same current outfitting. I'm sure it could use improvements and obviously is why I am posting here but I am really looking for an opinion also on if this would keep capable of visiting the no atmosphere bodies in a single run. I'm not sure I can even make Moho or Eeloo. Unfortunately with PS4 the only gravity assist i can do consistently is Mun to Kerbin and exit SOI. It is currently the route this craft is taking to Dres. So sorry this was soo long winded but I really did enjoy this build as of so far. Im just unsure I can manage to see them all with this craft and no grav assists. Side note, those pylons were a nightmare to design and the E3e had to have external struts added to them to keep the from krakening lol I' m not sure I will try it with the F class when it is commissioned. Thanks for reading Shag Going to post a mysterious pic of the MISS Kerbalprise D1b. Its lander inspired me to build the E class. I'll post the pics of that build and details of its landing at both Ike and Duna as soon as I upload pics.
