  1. Hey y'all, Been trying to convert some KSP flags recently from GIMP (.xcf) files to the supported filetype of KSP (png). However, the only site that actually worked said I needed to purchase premium to use it more than 3 times a day (and I needed to convert more than one flag). Does anyone know any safe, free filetype converters that can convert images from .xcf to .png? Preferably could it also be able to resize images and the like? I don't really mind if it is downloadable or online, to be honest. Thanks in advance, SecondHandRocketScience
  2. A while back I asked a question on how to make your own code in this forum. After lengthy conversations I came to the conclusion that it was not wise to bother trying. Now I pose this question as follow up. When computers were first invented how exactly did they manage to code them. I ask this because when I asked the question of making your own code I was given answers that seemed that they all required a base code to work with in the first place. Then the question is raised assuming that this is the case, how was that code formed. I'm asking fundamentally how software works and went from a circuit into something you can code with using a screen.
  3. Basically, I am doing a project using the orbit of the ISS. I am struggling however to find a proper ground track for the ISS. What I need is simply a world map (equirectangular projection), centered on the equator and base meridian, with 1-3 orbital paths of the ISS displayed. Must include a map scale indicator as I need to measure land distances as well. Thanks! If there is some kind of software that can give fresh data of the ISS orbit, that would be even better!
  4. https://software.nasa.gov/ A page on NASA's site with a bunch of software that can be requested and downloaded. Go nuts!
