  1. Can you add some sort of container that you can let in water or release water allowing subs to be made.
  2. Hello everyone! Kerbalkind has been exploring the vastness of the Kerbolar System for many years: they’ve explored the surfaces of planets and moons, encountered beautiful landscapes, interesting surface features, performed experiments, and even captured asteroids, all with ingenuity… and many explosions. However, sometimes it’s good to look back and appreciate the wonders of your own home-planet and realize that There’s No Place Like Home! Kerbal Space Program 1.9: There’s No Place Like Home draws its name from the substantial graphical overhaul we’ve given to Kerbin with improved textures and shaders, but that’s far from the only thing you’ll find in this update. Mainly focusing on performance improvements and bug fixes, 1.9 also includes some neat part revamps, a brand new drain valve, and several additions drawn directly from your feedback. Additionally, we’re including some cool stock crafts for the expansions, and advanced control improvements to the blades in the Breaking Ground Expansion. Let’s go through some of the update’s highlights below: Visual Revamps for Moho Dres and Kerbin Kerbin, Moho and Dres have received major visual improvements, with detailed high-quality texture maps. Since there’s no place like home, Kerbin also includes an Ultra Quality shader option for exceptionally sharp visuals. All in all, the Celestial Bodies in the Kerbolar System are looking better than ever. Drain Valve Kerbal Space Program 1.9: There’s No Place Like Home features the FTE-1 Drain Valve. A brand new part that, as the name suggests, is a release valve for parts with drainable resources, such as monopropellant, ore, liquid fuel, oxidizer or xenon. The Drain Valve also allows you to set the drainage over a specific amount of time. Part Revamps The "Thumper" Solid Fuel Booster, "Mainsail" and “Skipper" Liquid Fuel Engines have been given a new look. New geometry, textures and emissive maps make these parts look sharp and realistic. On top of that, the "Mainsail" and “Skipper" are getting a couple of sleek variants for you to choose from. Quality of Life Features Drawing from our players’ feedback, Kerbal Space Program 1.9: There’s No Place Like Home is packed with some useful quality of life features like an adjustment to the time warp system that removes restrictions on warping at certain altitudes; a new cheat menu option that allows you to place your craft above the surface of any celestial body; a search box for the R&D Tech Tree; and a new Screenshot Mode for paused shots, and several others! Blade improvements Breaking Ground players can now enjoy cyclic & collective deflection controls to the blade parts. This will help you build and pilot helicopters and other rotorcraft realistically. Check out this devblog to learn more about it. And more! 3. So, i'm wondering what your favorite update since 1.0 has been so far? Mine is probably KSP 1.7, since it made doing precise maneuvers a lot easier and also added an altitude toggle function that allowed you to switch between ground level and sea level which made landing easier. I can't wait to see what update was your favorite!

  6. So, what do you think the big feature of the upcoming KSP 1.8 update will be? 1.6 was a delta-v calculator and delta-v showing up in staging, 1.7 was a better and more precise manuever making system, called Room to Maneuver. So, what do you think 1.8 will be?
  7. So I’ve scoured YouTube and haven’t found anyone who made a kerbal enhanced edition update video.... so I set out to make one Let me know what you think:
  8. Hi, so Kerbal Space Program keeps crashing on my pc short after all assets have been loaded to the game. The bug keeps appearing after the 1.7 update. Before that, there was no such problem. I installed the kOS mod, but even before I installed it, the bug appeared several times. However, the bug doesn't appear on every game start. I have added a link to my Google Drive which redirects you to the crash log, the crash.dmp and a copy of my system information. Do you have any suggestions?
  9. Hello everyone! Kerbal Space Program 1.7: Room to Maneuver has arrived and with it: new features, improvements, revamps and bug fixes! We are committed to continue supporting, updating and finding ways to improve our player’s experience by listening to our community and delivering substantial releases. As part of this effort, we have packed Kerbal Space Program 1.7: Room to Maneuver with a great amount of content for you to enjoy! This update includes two new useful navigation upgrades, the revamp of all of the small maneuvering motors, including new variants for the Twitch, Ant and Spider, as well as a brand new galaxy texture map to have our astronauts mesmerized by the beauty of the celestial vault. A great deal of bug fixes have also been packed into this update, not two mention a new 3.75 meter nose cone and a 5m one for those extra-large fuel tanks in the Making History Expansion! Let’s go through some of this update’s highlights: Maneuver Mode Probably the most impactful feature within this update, the Maneuver Mode is a new navigation tool that gives you access to useful orbital information in both Flight and Map mode that will also allow you to precisely and easily adjust maneuvers nodes, all to help you fine tune your interplanetary transfers. Altimeter mode toggle A long-requested quality-of-life feature that will allow you to toggle the altitude mode from Above Sea Level (ASL) to Above Ground Level (AGL) by simply clicking on the new icon to the altimeter. Hopefully this will improve the KSC’s survival rates… Part revamps This time around, small maneuvering engines were the focus of our revamping efforts. The Ant, Twitch, Puff, Place-Anywhere 7, RV-105 Thruster Block, and Vernor Engines now look better than ever, plus the Twitch, Ant and Spider include new stunning variants. On top of that, we’ve added new tuning values on some of those engines. Galaxy Texture Map Update The game’s galaxy cubemap has been updated in Room to Maneuver. This environment map has been carefully crafted to reflect a nicer color palette and more defined celestial objects. With double the resolution, it will be impossible not to enjoy the view while exploring Kerbin’s star system. Click here to see high res images. Scrollable PAW Another small quality-of-life feature we’re adding to the game is the addition of a scrollbar to the Part-Action-Window. This will keep the PAW within the bounds of the screen when they get too big, something that might come in handy for players who use mods and fill those up And more! 10. Hello everyone! A new technology has arrived to the KSC and with it, Kerbals will only get more Room to Maneuver! We’re excited to release, Kerbal Space Program 1.7: Room to Maneuver, our newest content-filled update that will give players new features and wide variety of improvements to help Kerbals explore farther than ever before! 11. Does anybody knows any site explaining new parts detailed specifications? (like ksp wiki, but for consoles)
  12. So not too long ago I saw a new ksp loading was out about changes coming in 1.7. But i'm wondering, will there be a 1.6.2 or 1.7 preview or will they just release 1.7.0 with no updates in between?
  13. Are versions of Bon Voyage and World Stabilizer updated for KSP 1.6 in the works? The 1.5.whatever versions still work on load, but when I last tried to use BV my rover ended up so banged up it couldn't sit still.
  14. Ah, the Skipper! What a nice looking engine... But does it need an overhaul? or should we leave it alone? that is up to you to decide. I vow to have it be unchanged, and that other parts should base their design on this, but that is my opinion. Do you have any thoughts?
  15. My launcher looks like this. I've owned KSP since 2013 and it's been like this for a long while over all versions I've played. The game works fine but the update feature doesn't work just like the picture illustrates. Any idea on how to fix this?
  16. I personally really want a stock centrifuge habitat to be implemented into the newer ksp versions. I would like to see your ideas though too. @UomoCapra please consider doing this
  17. KerbalEdu Updated It didn't even take a year this time! KerbalEdu version 1.4.5e882 KerbalEdu has now been updated to 1.4.5e882. There are two main improvements in this update. Languages The first main improvement is that KerbalEdu now includes all the languages regular Kerbal Space Program is available in. These languages are: German English Spanish French Italian Japanese Portuguese (Brazil) Russian Chinese (Simplified) You can change the language by clicking on the "Change language" button in the main menu. Note that only the base game features are translated in this version. Features added in KerbalEdu are still in English only. Based on Kerbal Space Program 1.4.5 Second main improvement is that we are again bringing KerbalEdu more up to date with a newer version of the base game. KerbalEdu is now based on Kerbal Space Program 1.4.5, whereas the last version was built on 1.3.1. As always, no feature from the base game has been left out, so you can find everything from KSP 1.4.5 in KerbalEdu. You can look back at the changes in the base game between 1.3.1 and 1.4.5 by checking out the Kerbal Space Program version history. Other new features and fixes in KerbalEdu 1.3.1 include Cloud save improvements Bugfixes. Cloud saves should now generally work better and more reliably You can now toggle cloud saves on and off in the main menu The game detects if there are new or changed saves when logging in or when cloud saves is re-enabled and asks what to do with them (upload to cloud, disable cloud saves, or delete non-cloud saves) Show Flight Recorder Graph event action added for Mission Editor Added dynamic pressure and angle of attack recording to flight recorder Fixed travel distance in function tool Mission mod UI improvements and mod deletion after mission The update is available in the TeacherGaming App If you skipped the previous update, you will need to transfer your licenses to a TeacherGaming account (or you will not be able to use the TeacherGaming App to download KerbalEdu updates). Please follow this link for instructions on how to do so. If you purchased KerbalEdu after July 2017 from the TeacherGaming Store, they have automatically been linked to your existing TeacherGaming account, and no manual transfer is required. We apologize for any extra work we’re making you do! However, this will ensure a smoother KerbalEdu installation and update experience for you and all of our future customers. Note: The Earth History Campaign missions, downloadable from kerbaledu.com, have also been updated to work with the latest version. They may no longer work with earlier versions of KerbalEdu. Where to buy If you don't yet have KerbalEdu, you can get it on the TeacherGaming Store. You can also buy other cool and educational games there. Go check it out! For more information about KerbalEdu, visit kerbaledu.com. For more information about TeacherGaming and our platform, visit teachergaming.com.
  18. Sorry if this has an answer, I had trouble finding one so that's why I am asking. Right now I have the 1.5 launcher ready to install, but I don't know what to do next. What do I do with my 1.4.5 version and its saves? I did not use Steam and my game is unmodded. Thanks in advance!
  19. I know the game is made to build rockets n stuff but i personally the 75% of the time i play is just to make planes, helicopters or space planes so i think some new airplane parts could be nice, like: - New Engine for planes -A new set of wings? (like the structural wings but more bigger) -some landing gears maybe -a new fuselage?! thats some thing i will like to see in the next big update (1.4.6) or even 1.4.7
  20. Ok this is somthing i think is IMPORTANT for KSP, being able to trim you planes Have you ever made and airplane and started flying it around the world (or just a long distance) and had the plane slowly start pitching downwards? If u just left the controls alone you would eventually crash right. Well this is why i want AIRPLANE TRIMMING please help me notify squad and get this to be a feature ingame because its so frustrating doing long straight flights on kerbin. So please help me notify squad about this If you want more info on what trimming is just read this little bit of info its fairly simple: https://aviation.stackexchange.com/questions/164/what-does-the-term-trimming-most-commonly-mean-in-aviation You can also find videos on yt on how trimming works and its uses! To squad: please add this its much needed. You could make it like and optional clickable button when u right click on a probe or a cockpit but man would this be useful. Besides real airplanes use this in pretty much every airplane today so why not add it in ksp?
  21. Is there any way to do that? I am using KSP 1.4.2 and many great mods are not updated to this version. It really annoys me, especially because i am not sure if the mod creators are willing to update them. So, could i do it myself?
  22. KerbalEdu Updated Has it really been a year since our last update? Time flies! Our game-based learning platform has been keeping us busy: in the past year, we’ve put together a portfolio of 35+ great educational games with 180+ compatible lesson plans, available to teachers at a very affordable annual subscription fee. Don’t worry, though - we haven’t totally forgotten about KerbalEdu. It’s finally time for another update! KerbalEdu version 1.3.1e859 and TeacherGaming Desk integration KerbalEdu has now been updated to 1.3.1e859. The main headliner of this update is that KerbalEdu is now integrated with TeacherGaming Desk, the aforementioned game-based learning platform. What this means in practice is that KerbalEdu now comes with lesson plans and learning analytics, available through the TeacherGaming Desk teacher dashboard. Most importantly, you no longer need to use a license key and tie a license to a computer every time you install. Instead, you can simply login (or rather have your students login) using a TeacherGaming Desk class ID and student ID on any computer you have installed KerbalEdu on. The number of licences you have purchased now only limits the number of students that can be logged in to active game sessions at the same time. Instructions for getting your game up and running on the new platform can be found on TeacherGaming.com! We are also bringing KerbalEdu more up to date with a newer version of the base game. KerbalEdu is now based on Kerbal Space Program 1.3.1., whereas the last version was built on 1.2.2. As always, no feature from the base game has been left out, so you can find everything from KSP 1.3.1 in KerbalEdu. You can look back at the changes in the base game between 1.2.2 and 1.3.1 by checking out the Kerbal Space Program version history. New features and fixes in KerbalEdu 1.3.1e859 include TeacherGaming Desk integration Installation from TG App TeacherGaming Desk login instead of license keys Lesson plans Analytics Cloud saves (each student login has their own saves) No longer needs an installer - installation from TG App or by unzipping Fixed saves redirection Fixed mission launching on OS X Fixed change scene event action (mission editor) Fixed STARTVELOCITYUI_LAUNCH_ANGLE translation in EHC mission 2 Fixed EHC 2 drapes disappearing Made EHC 2 drapes more visible (red) Made default graphics settings a bit lower New TeacherGaming flag with new logo To download and run this version and all future versions of KerbalEdu, you will need to transfer your licenses to a TeacherGaming account. Please follow this link for instructions on how to do so. If you purchased KerbalEdu after July 2017 from the TeacherGaming Store, they have automatically been linked to your existing TeacherGaming account, and no manual transfer is required. We apologize for the extra work we’re making you do! However, this will ensure a smoother KerbalEdu installation and update experience for you and all of our future customers. 23. Hello, Yesterday, I found out that about a week and a half prior, Realism Overhaul had (finally! ) been updated for 1.3.1. So, I did this sequence of events (I'm on Windows 10, BTW): Backed up saves and screenshots for safety, Deleted my copy of CKAN and the CKAN folder, as it was malfunctioning. Recalling the tumultuous experience I had with upgrading to 1.2.2, I uninstalled KSP and reinstalled it as 1.3.1. I reinstalled CKAN. CKAN recognized the mods that still existed in the Game Data folder, but (presumably because I deleted my CKAN folder), they were marked by 2 capital letters (which I can't recall) and I could not do anything with them. I permanently deleted all the Game Data, as I always have very little space on my computer. This took with it all of my custom engine configs, yaay... Now I could reinstall the mods. I attempted to do so, but it kept aborting the procedure as the mods were attempting to install a craft that was already in the Ships folder, which also strangely wasn't swept away by the reinstall. I sent the craft to the Recycle Bin. I tried again. This time a different craft showed up. What should I do? Should I delete my Ships folder or just the contents? What about the stock crafts or pre-made crafts that may not be provided in 1.3.1 RO?
  24. I am currently running version 1.2.2 and haven't updated in a while to keep my mods operating in a compatible manner. From what I understand I have a lot of mods, but I am also not sure how many of them I am using. But I am having some compatibility problems and am looking at upgrading to a more current version potentially looking at getting the DLC. The big issue is that I have been running a career mode where I have several off-world colonies, bases and research facilities that I would like to carry forward. What I would like from people is feedback on what difficulties and resources work with this. I have 2 installs (1.3.1 and 1.4.1) that I have been trying to get mods updated to run my setup and I am getting loads of notices that mod x or y is a different version. I have tried using Ckan but even Ckan seems to install mods that are not compatible and I am having a harder time finding the best compatible older versions. It isn't the end of the world to use the F12 menu to rebuild incompatible relays or probes or even empty rovers and sending them back to location, but doing that a lot or when dealing with active bases is a lot more difficult.
  25. THAT'S IT! I've hit rock bottom with this game... This is not a rant,I'm just really frustrated and I don't know what to do... I update my savegame to 1.31 (or so I think, the patcher seems to work..) and then when I launch the game it tells me ''EVA parachutes and ejection seats'' ''unsupported ksp version use 1.31'' and the same for mk4 systems... Yet, I just updated, What DO I DO I LOVE THIS GAME AND IT'S NOT WORKIN (windows 8)
