  1. I built 3 identical keostationary satellites with moderate part clipping, and robotic hinges to stuff the arms into it’s deployer. I switched to one, and the kraken was unpleased. It started wiggling, quite a lot until time warp was activated. The hinges were no longer 1 piece, and the solar panels were all over the place. How do I put images on mobile?
  2. I was testing a rover near the desert runway, when I noticed the windmills were floating quite high above their normal spot.
  3. On Xbox one, Radial preset. I’m attempting my first interplanetary mission to duna, so I stretched my apoapsis to kerbin’s SOI edge, then plotted a 150 m/s burn to intercept Duna. When I engaged time warp, The burn suddenly became 2,768 m/s. I reloaded a quick save, replotted the burn, then when I engaged time-warp the burn became ~1,980 m/s. How do I avoid this? And please don’t say don’t use time warp, the burn is in 38 days.
  4. I accidentally hit the “paint” icon on the mainsail engine, and while clicking through the variants to reset it, I noticed there is a shroud around the “bare” variant. That’s all!
  5. This is a stupid question, but can you use mods on ksp Xbox. Most forums say no, but the Xbox version still has a app launcher tab. I mean they completely reworked to game to make it xbox-compatible and wouldn't they remove it if it had no use?
  6. I know, I know, I was pushing the game to it’s limits. While playing on Xbox on the radial preset, my ring station was wiggled apart by the kraken. In response, I built the “krakens jaw” and attempted to sacrifice 40, then 20, then 10 kerbals. It was just 8 or 9 Saturn V first stages strutted together with external command seats over the center engines. I continued to fail. So now when i want to launch a rocket, i need to recover the kerbals. Then i can’t do anything, cant close the recovery screen, cant get my cursor, its like the screen is frozen, but i can still see trucks moving up the elevators.
  7. Im on Xbox one, playing on the radial preset, with both DLCs installed and can’t seem to find engine plates. I’ve restarted the game, and gone searching for them in the “advanced mode.” On the acapello 13 mission, I see one for the blown up engine, so I don't know why they're not in the parts list. I’m considering reinstalling the DLC, but don’t know if that messes stuff up. So im silly and I passed over them multiple times. Then i had to get a root part to test the inflatable airlock. I got the engine plate. SOLVED!
  8. Struggling with duct fan and current blades on xbox. Were there not duct fan blades? I swear I saw them. They don't seem to be on xbox.
  9. The current blades dont fit duct fan on xbox. Weren't there duct fan blades specifically for the duct fans or am I mistaken? If so, how do I make the current blades fit?
  10. Hey, all. I never tried a slingshot maneuver and was looking for some tips on how to even begin thinking about it. While the definition seems simple enough -- using another planetary body's gravity to propel me further towards my target, saving fuel/Delta-V -- I'm totally clueless on how to put it into action. Using only stock tools (as I'm playing on the Xbox), what's the best way to plan for a slingshot with the Mun to reach Duna for example? How do I even figure out how much Delta-V I'll require beforehand? I was thinking the best way to plan it would be by trial and error in the Orbit screen, plotting burns until it gets to where I want. But if this is the best way to do it, it means I must have my craft already in orbit to begin with, right? Is there no way for me to plot this from the ground before launching my craft? And - only 1 more question, I promise xD - how do I know when is the best time to launch my craft - is it when my target planet is closest to Kerbin, or when the planet is a bit retrograde so it will be closest to Kerbin by the time my spaceship gets there; or am I'm overthinking way too much and the Delta-V difference is just negligible in both cases? Thanks!
  11. So i just bought the DLC on xbox one last night and ive had nothing but trouble with it. My main problem is i can't progress beyond the first challenge (build a rocket and land at the old runway). When i complete the challenge and land on the runway it prompts me to go to the VAB to start the next mission. I go to the VAB, create the rocket for the next mission, when i press launch it doesn't put my new vessel on the launch pad, it takes me to my old rocket still landed at the runway. When i try to leave and go back to the VAB it says the building is locked. Here is a video showing the problem. What is wrong here? I've reset the mission like 10 times now, deleted the DLC and redownload it. Completely uninstalled and reinstalled the game. And cleared save data. Nothing fixes it.
  12. I discovered that I can't get achievements to pop. I've tried making new saves, deleting old saves, and reinstalling everything and starting clean. Still can't get them to work. I don't think I've ever used the cheat menu, but I thought it was attached to a save. Any ideas?
  13. Had a contract pop up to test an engine at the launch pad, seems to be a part in the DLC pack as it’s not present in the game I have, even in sandbox mode. anyone else had this?
  14. I am new to the forums and have no clue on how to find any new info for the console version, I love the game and would hate to see it just abandoned. Also is there any new info on mods because the pc version seems to be their top priority, the console is great but just seems to be falling into the pit of no return. I'd just hate to see a fantastic game go to waste just because others players are having issues/ loss of interest.

After buying KSP on the Xbox one (when my PC started giving me too many problems), I found the game to be nearly unplayable (compared to the PC version) and was intently waiting for Microsoft to allow developers implementation of mouse and keyboard support on Xbox One. Now that Microsoft has confirmed developers will be able to update their games with this feature on a case by case basis, It seems this would be an expected update to KSP enhanced edition. Do the developers even plan on supporting the XBox One playerbase in this way? Or are we out of luck and just have to deal with the difficult controls? As a long time KSP fan, I really hope they do plan on a mouse and keyboard update, because I'm not likely to return to KSP unless I can play it on Xbox without getting frustrated. Thank you

  18. Anybody know how to delete parts on xbox? When i remove parts form a craft on my xbox i have to just set them aside instead of deleting them, it gets messy and unorganized.
  19. It's been a long time coming, but Microsoft has delivered the promise of giving Xbox One owners the ability to use mouse and keyboard controls for a variety of games on the home console. Phil Spencer publicly revealed in September that Mouse & Keyboard support was coming In the November 2018 console update. Major Nelson later confirmed after the update went live in November 2018, in his blog, that keyboard and mouse support is now enabled for the Xbox One. This gave both developers and players more choice on how they want to play, gifting the user the choice to use a keyboard to type and carry out commands and/or use the mouse to navigate through menus, UI and play their favourite games the way they want to. The option is there for the Developers if they wish to do so states Microsoft. So I'm really wanting to know as a fan and a long time player who has bought 3 copies of KSP for 3 different platforms, when will Mouse and Keyboard support for KSP come to Xbox? The reason of typing such a fuss, is that the enabling of K&M for the console version of KSP will transform the console version for the better guaranteed. Compared to its PC counterpart, the console controls have never felt natural since its console release turning many fans off to the console version. I do understand that the Enhanced Edition (KSPED) brought many improvements but there is still one glaringly obvious function missing to make the Console version truly complete. What we need ia someone from the KSP Dev Team to please give us an answer on when and if this function will be coming to Xbox now that it is possible on the platform? As Xbox have said, this is down to the developer, wether to enable the function or not. Thankyou For Your Time.
  20. In my Kerbal Space Program game on Xbox, I am having an awesome time! But there is one big issue. After that I had played for a while, and made and saved a lot of ships, I went into the VAB and built a ship. I saved it and then launched it, and it got my payload into orbit. I wanted to make a few changes to the design and do a new mission with the old ship, but when I went to open the ship, it stopped loading the ships. I could not move down or up or press on any ship, so I exited out of the menu. I tried again and it did't work. I frustratingly rebuilt the old ship completely. There is no way I can delete old ships to get it to load faster because I can't do anything in the menu. I was wondering if there is a way to fix this, and if not, I would like to suggest that it would be patched. Also, there should be a way to select multiple quicksaves at a time and delete them all at once. It is quite frustrating to delete one, and it reloads, and delete another one, and it reloads. I love this game and if this was patched it would be even better.

  23. I have read that there is a trim function in KSP with Alt + W, S, A, D key combos. I am currently using an Xbox controller in my PC for KSP and I would like to map at least pitch trim somewhere (e.g. in the D-pad), but I cannot find it in the Input settings area. Also, in KSP somehow the D-pad is identified as two axes instead of four buttons, which is a limitation. Can this be changed? Any help would be welcome!
  24. In the new console update, I cannot seem to find any way to deploy the landing gear other than using the curser and clicking manually, which cannot easily be done during the care-needing procedure of takeoff or landing. Does anyone have any solutions, for any control scheme?
  25. So I’ve been playing ksp enhanced edition (Xbox version) and have been using ion engines and nuclear engines and some of the burns are very long and are tedious to sit through. I was wondering if there was a way to enable 4x physical time warp to speed up the process?
