So, I've started this thing that's similar to Scott Manley's Galileo Conquest series, where you try to expand to the very edges of an unfamiliar modded system, made even less familiar by mods such as Research Bodies. The modlist is slightly different, and instead of Galileo's Planet Pack as the modded system, we have Kerbal Star Systems by @StarCrusher96 as the main focus of the challenge, a system which, if you include the stock bodies, contains a total of 125 carefully designed bodies! The challenge? Construct a base as self-sufficient as possible on each land-able body with specific mods and gameplay settings (I shall provide the specifics soon). As for me, I will record each day with anything worth noting in the spoiler below, including mission launches, mission endings, mission failures, etc.
  2. Simple enough, got inspiration from the Jool 5 mission. All you have to do is land on all of Voon's moons. Required: KSS (duh) Scatterer EVE Yeah so. Do it! P.S: After you are done, throw the probe into Voon, protocol demands that there is no space junk!

Laho Butterfly Challenge This one requires some mods: Kerbol Starsystems Near Future Tech Scatterer EVE Pretty basic, the challenge is to do the to following: 1) Unmanned flyby of Laho 2) Unmanned orbit of Laho 3) Returning research probe from Laho 4) Relay around Laho 5) Manned flyby 6) Parachuting probe 7) Lander probe 8) Manned orbit 9) Probe mine 10) Return probe landing 11) Probe refueling station (needs at least 2 modules. Cargo holds are accepted if you have KIS, but there is no real need. You could also use the other low gravity moons for that. 12) Manned station 13) Manned landing 14) Base and planet a flag next to it, take a screenshot (F12) and post below! 15) Terraform it? Step 6 example.

I installed KSS but it doesn't work. -> You might have done something wrong, make sure you follow the steps and have the right mods installed. Remember that thousands of others managed to install KSS without any trouble, so it's not KSS. This is how your GameData folder should look with only KSS installed: 2. I started KSP with KSS and the KSC-screen looks dark / day and night cycle is broken. -> This is a 'normal' bug when moving Kerbin around another star. Bug is fixed in 0.7. 3. The orbits of my vessels changed while using KSS. -> solved thx to @johnnydope 5. Contracts are broken. -> Should work in 0.7! 6. I want to combine KSS with another planetpack. -> GPP, GPO and OPM compatibility confirmed for 0.7, others will be added soon. Always ask other planet pack developers to incorporate KSS before asking KSS developers to incorporate other planet packs. Especially if you want to replace the home system, because we're not going to to that for you. Remember that KSS moves other planetpacks to distant star systems. 7. I want to use several other mods that aren't included / known to be compatible with KSS. + I want to combine from other version. -> Do this at your own risk. ** Your problem can't be solved unless you provide logs / screenshots or at least some evidence of your issue.
