  1. Any other Minecrafters who saw the MC Live 2023? What do you think of it? We've got the Trial Chambers, Automated Crafting, and the Armadillo. Any hopes for 1.21, or any opinions?
  2. The official article from Mojang: https://www.minecraft.net/en-us/article/java-edition-moving-house This is concerning. This will give Microsoft far greater control over Java edition. How does the community feel about this change.
  3. I have created a new forum to help create an online forum community for the Minecraft Xbox 360 Edition. I always felt that compared to the PC edition's online scope of Minecraft was always so much better than the consoles, even though they can do all of the same aspects of the PC. So, to help create a community based on this version of Minecraft, I have created a forum for everyone to show off their maps and be able to grow the online community ! So if you have Xbox 360 and Minecraft come and join! Even if you don't own own an Xbox 360 or Minecraft please please please share us with your friends! Any help sharing this slowing growing community is better than none! Link- http://minecraft360worlds.lefora.com/ If you have any questions, concerns, or suggestions please tell me here! I have several forums before this, and I am putting forth my best effort to make this as best as I can, but any help from the KSP community is appreciated! Yes I know advertising an console game on a PC exclusive game forum is silly, but like I said above, any help is better than none. Besides some people own a PC and a 360, and one of the reasons they may not play the 360 edition of Minecraft may be due to the lacking community that this is trying to solve.
  4. I tried Minecraft a few years ago, but I quickly gave up on it because the vanilla game is just begging to be modded. And the more mods you add, the harder it gets to run the game. I really wanted to try to become a wizard with a nuclear reactor in his basement and a laz-pistol on his belt. But... it just gets too hard to keep everything updated and properly compatible. In a lot of ways, KSP is like this. Though I find myself going much longer periods of time before I start to think of KSP-vanilla as lacking (especially given how many mod-like features the devs have been adding to the vanilla game lately). What helps KSP enormously is CKAN. So it will clearly tell you (usually) when you are missing that special texture or that one dependency. It's super freaking useful. Like the title says, does anyone of something like that that exists for minecraft modding. Something that can give you a broad enough list of all the mods out there, which texture packs are compatible with them, are the mods compatible with one another? Etc. The closest thing to this that I've found are launchers. Things like Feed The Beast. The problem is that there are so many different launchers, and they don't seem to check things all that well. I remember the last time I tried FTB, it installed a bunch of mods I hadn't asked for, and it ran the game despite the fact that many of the mods it had installed weren't working properly (it started the game, game me a list of errors, and the next time I tried to load that game it said it was corrupted or something). So yeah... if anyone knows something that would help, please share.
  5. So since people on the KSP forums are so nice, I know I won't be judged for being over ten and playing Minecraft. I was playing KSP, and I thought, 'What could I do to actually put something cool on the forums?', and I thought of this. I have spent the last few months on this, spending about an hour a week creating it, and I'd like to know your thoughts (If you have Minecraft, of course). Thanks!
  6. How would the Minecraft OST fare in a game like KSP? The exploration factor in KSP and Minecraft might be same enough where the OST works. But again, how would the Minecraft OST fit into KSP
  7. Check this out. A guy playing KSP inside of Minecraft.
  8. Me and a friend of mine have been working on a Orzammar/Gondor (Dragon Age: Origins / Lord of the Rings) like castle, and I've decided I'd like to see more people help make it bigger and better. I know, asking for help on Minecraft on a KSP forum which is almost complete PC (and or master race) is stupid, but I've heard bad things about the Minecraft forum, so I'll steer clear and make this request in a friendly environment I can trust. If you can help, let me know and I'll let you know when I can "host" this server and you can help Lastly, if you know a way to port the map as is to the PC version, let me know. Or if you want to remake the map in the PC version, again let me know. Yes yes I know porting from Xbox 360 to PC isn't *exactly* possible since the PC has infinite worlds and the Xbox 360 doesn't. I'm aware, but maybe someone made a port which can, idk, just an idea. So if you want to help, let me know. If you want to friend me on Xbox Live, I'm ZooNamed. Just shoot me a PM on Live and tell me who you are and that your from the forums wanting to help.
