  1. In my science save, I have decided that to challenge myself, I will have a base on every planet and moon in KSP, as well as have a space station orbiting it. I have also decided to name each base/station after a band or singer I like, so I called the operation "Golden Record". But I don't know what band should pair with what planet/moon. So I need help. I plan put whoever helped me name the base in the flag that's planted when it lands. Thanks in advance! The list: Freddy Mercury: Moho, because it is the analogue of Mercury Queen: MDZhB "Laythe because it is the queen of the Jool system." David Bowie: Mun, because, well I don't know. Pink Floyd: Minmus, because it is a magical world of mint and super man gravity, and there songs bring you to a magical world. Metallica: Ike, because they were a metal/rock band, and whenever I think of metal I think of dark colors . Led Zeppelin: cantab "Eeloo, because it is far away like heaven. you have to take a stairway to get there." Black Sabbath: Dres, because they are also a metal band, and Dres is darker than Ike. Rolling Stones: Gilly, because your rocket turns into a "Rolling Stone" on it's slopes" (cantab) Billy Joel: FleshJeb "Low Kerbol Orbit, because the star 'starts the fire'". Johnny Cash: Tylo, because your engine makes a burning ring of fire when landing. Nirvana: Bop, because the certain easter egg of a certain deep sea creature looks like his hair, in a way. AC/DC: Eve, because it has oceans of rocket fuel, and rockets are loud, like thunder. Guns N' Roses: Duna, because roses are red like Duna. Beatles: FleshJeb "Vall, because it is the diamond in the sky with Lucy." Elvis: MDZhB "Jool because it is the king of the planets." The Eagles: Pol, because it has mystical invisible mountains, like the mystical Hotel California. Thanks MDZhB, FleshJeb, cantab
  2. WHAT IS THIS? RSSVE-Lite is just that, a "lite" version of RSSVE, which is supposed to help people with lower-end computers still run RSS with a visual enhancements mod. RSSVE-Lite does this by completely removing Scatterer from the mix, and instead uses EVE to create all atmospheric effects. Meaning, if your computer is able to run EVE fine (which most are able to), RSSVE-Lite should work perfectly fine on your computer as well. Although RSSVE-Lite adds clouds to every planet with an atmosphere, the bodies with the most notable clouds are Venus, Earth, Mars and Titan. The gas and ice giants in our Solar System have clouds added to them, but the difference is not very noticeable. Atmospheric colors are really only noticeable around Earth, seeing as Earth is really the only planet with a colorful atmosphere. Again, I've added atmospheric colors to all of the planets, but the difference is more minute. 3. I tried upgrading my SVE to the high res version, and my computer just choked. I was assuming, since I run Premier Pro on this PC and do video editing, that I would be fine. To be fair, my card is getting old, though I have seen on a few forums that the scatterer may be the issue? Anyway, what are the specs needed to run the high res Stock Visual Enhancements? And can someone explain as well the difference between the Environmental Visual Enhancements and Stock Visual Enhancements? Also, even downgrading to the medium res, I still seem to have lag issues (for some reason whenever I am landing a plane on the runway, just at approach). I do have a dozen planes parked just off the runway (I've been comparison testing all the stock aircraft and launchers), so that may be contributing as well. My specs: Windows 7 64-bit Intel Core I7 3.4 Ghz 16GB Ram NVIDIA GForce 660Ti (https://www.geforce.com/hardware/desktop-gpus/geforce-gtx-660ti/specifications) KSP 1.4.2 with Making History Expansion Current Mods: Planet Shine Kerbal Engineer and then Kopernicus and Firespitter, which seem to be required to run the above...
