  1. My game seems to be crashing only if I have certain mods installed. All mods I installed were through CKAN, and I checked to make sure they were up to date for 1.3.1 Mods included: KW Rocketry Re-balanced SpaceY and SpaceY Expanded Kerbal Engineer Near Future Propulsion E.V.E. I suspect the issues comes from the dependencies each mod installs, but I'm not sure. Here's the crash folder, with logs and the .dmp file:
  2. Hello everyone. Is the current version of the game with similar performance on masOS vs windows? My install on macOS is running into a few issues, not sure if it's something I;m not doing or that they perform (FPSwise) differently on these platforms. Thanks for your time.
  3. After flying a mission, I am unable to save my game. When I click the button to confirm a quicksave, the UI gets stuck in a wierd state where I can't do anything, until I hit ESC again. If I click Exit to Desktop, nothing happens. (I also tried returning to space center or tracking station - nothing happens when I click those, either.) When I click save, I see a NullReferenceException. The output log was also getting spammed continuously with that "root part drag cube" error message: OS, game version and other details listed at the bottom, after the stack trace. I will include the latest save game file that I have. Details of the game session: 1) Chatted on Steam in-game overlay 2) Went to tracking station 3) Launched using auto-saved ship 4) Grabbed the asteroid that is already in orbit around Kerbin (and has another ship attached to it) 5) Mined with both drills until storage tank is full 6) Separated and returned to Kerbin 7) Ran atmospheric experiments in upper atmosphere over polar ice cap 7) Successful landing on polar ice cap Note: In some ship stages, manual activation of the engine is required, due to weird behavior during stage separation. Sometimes I have to cycle through debris using square bracket keys to get control of the next stage. I was not able to quickly reproduce the issue with a fresh launch. Save game files are from an older version (maybe a originally started maybe 6 months ago; last save is maybe a month or two old - not sure how to check which version). After force-closing and restarting the game, I was able to start a mission with the auto-saved ship and exit the game normally.
  4. Hey, so i have this issue, where my KSP keeps freezing while i try to load it (via steam) in KSP_x64 or 64bit model of the game. The 32 bit does not do this. I have gotten the 64bit version to load, and its much smoother, this is because i run a heavily modded version of the game (NO its IS NOT one of the mods causing it) Here is the part it is loading when freezing Obviously the "Rebuilding VAB..." is just a thing that KSP just says while loading for 'fun' -Thanks, the KSP community is great Frontline
  5. Hi there! I've been trying to load the game (v1.2.2) since early morning today and everytime it finishes loading, it crahes with the standard "game crashed" dialog. I got the game via Steam, if that matters. Please, let me know if any other info is needed and I apreciate any help I can get.
  6. I need load time to go down because I'm having to go down to my basic must-have mods, such as SVE, NFT, SpaceY, RealPlume, and nothing helps. I have KSP 1.2.2 x64 while forcing DX11 using 52 mods. These include UKS, USI-LS, and Stockalke Station Parts Expansion. ATM, Dynamic texture loader, DDSloader, and load on demand are all incompatible or unavailable. I don't know what else i can do. Any ideas?
  7. So on my output log and the in-game debug menu this message keeps spamming the console: MissingMethodException: Method not found: 'Part.FindModelComponents'. (Filename: Line: -1) Over and over and over again. I've looked through the log but havn't found anything causing it. Is this a common error since I haven't been able to find this issue anywhere else?

  9. Hello, Just wanted to point out, that since version 1.1.2 the Steam launcher automatically launches KSP in x32, by default, instead of x64 like in version 1.1.1. If one would want to launch in x64 (most of us do), you would have to go to the Steam Library, right click on the game and click on "Launch KSP (64-bit)". I would like an option to choose which one it should launch by default, or go back to launchit it in x64 by default. Or some suggestion as to how to configure the launcher with the "Set launch options" so that the game starts in x64 when clicking on the shortcut.
  10. Hi, I'm in the uncomfortable situation that I need to load an external library for a mod, that exists in an x86 and an x86_64 DLL. I noticed, that KSP uses the .exe filename to figure out which data folder to use. Is there any way for me to do the same to load the correct dll? My problem is, that the DLLImport code asks for a const string and I can't alter/fill that at runtime...
  11. Since updating to 1.1.0 (on 1230 now but this was an update from 1.0.5), this is a new problem that seems to come and go. The 2 times I distinctly remember seeing it was when I was deleting a disconnected part from the VAB. KSP itself stops working suddenly, so there is no crash log. Any suggestions as to how I might gather more crash data to pass to Squad for review?
