Starwhip's Renderfarm [Stock Craft Requests Open]

Very nice! I would like to see one great masterpiece made entirely in Blender, though, not just superimposed renders.

It's a good long-term project. I'd have to get it just right.

I've been playing with the cloud tools, I might put clouds in next.

It's funny, because I am looking at Andrew Price's tutorial as well :D

(If he made a readable version of his tutorials, this would go a lot faster..)

Love Andrew Price, his Blender tutorials are very informative. I usually watch them on higher speeds (1.5 is mostly)

Enceos' OMS Apple perches on the edge of a Duna canyon as it's pilot watches the sunrise.

EDIT: Everything but the sun's lens flare was done within Cycles.

@StarWhip Could you please try opening this .blend file: https://www.dropbox.com/s/br0wzpisgp4si9k/OMS%20Apple.rar?dl=0

I packed all external data before saving.

The craft inside is similar to this:

What are those parts?

Did I miss an update of something?

Wait, you can render modded parts?

The addon technically supports mod parts, yes. They may or may not import correctly. However, it would require me to install all the mods required to make the craft, possibly all of the mods in the users's GameData directory.

Enceos sent me the .blend file with the craft already imported.

In the OP of the thread I put up a download for a Blender install with the .craft importer for others to use. If you want a modded craft rendered, you'll need to import it yourself and send me the .blend. The download includes a set of instructions (README.txt) for setting up the importer plugins and importing your craft.

Alright, could you do Base Package 1 entering Laythe's atmosphere (With view of the surface) and Jool hanging in the background?

I know it sounds like much, but it would be epic to see.

Here it is: http://kerbalx.com/DMSP/Base%20Package%201

Also, it hit 150 downloads!

I will attempt it, though I once again will say that I would prefer stock craft.

Is blender free? or does it cost money?

Also, anything about doing the rest of my american planes pack?

It costs exactly $0,000,000.00. You can get it here. Blender.org

I'm still trying to figure out atmospheres for DMSP's Jool render. I don't want to hold up the line though, so I might do those planes in the meantime.

Hey could you do my F/A-18?

Download here. If you could send me one without GIMP effects and one with, that would be great! I wouldn't seeing it looks like without effects. :P

Also, I would love to be able to do this for myself but can't figure out how to import them at all! Maybe you could send me a .obj of it? That way I can try the rendering bit for myself!

Love your work btw!

Thanks

PS Checkout my other aircraft here.

This... was an unusual idea. I absolutely love the result... let me know if you want it changed. :)

EDIT:

Yeah, the resolution is kind of crazy. 1722 x 723. I'm sure there must be a monitor out there with that ratio right? :D
