game crash with current mods, need help

so I installed these mods and my game keeps crashing, an error log will follow:

it keeps crashing while it is loading, here is the error log, if someone can decipher this for me and figure out what the problem is it would be greatly appreciated, I really want to keep all the mods and not have to get rid of any:

I'm no expert but I would guess without even checking the error log, simply by looking at your list of mods installed that you are hitting the memory barrier. When you next start up KSP open up task manager and watch your RAM usage for the game. Mine will crash no matter what at anything above 3.2Gb.

Also next time put the log in spoiler tags. Saves the scrolling.

Edit: if you keep hitting memory issues try forcing the game to open -forceopengl or maybe Active Texture Management.

very helpful thank you, ill try these, also one more question, if I use the active texture manager do you think I will be able to add more mods?, I want 2 more which I hear require a lot of ram

There is almost no way that you will be able to run all of these mods , even with an aggressive release of ATM

noobs: I'd recommend trying opengl and dx11 and probably switching between depending what you're doing - you can't use Minmus or Ike under dx11 at the moment, but opengl doesn't have shadows and can give some odd slowdowns so best not used on other planets. Landing without shadows can get a bit wierd. Squad mentioned DX11 improvements in 1.0, so hopefully it'll be fully usable soon. Saves me 1GB or so of memory once textures are loaded & dumped to VRAM.

holy ...., mind if I ask what mods you are using to make your gamedata folder look like that, im actually trying to go for a mod build that makes ksp feel as alive as possible, though I know I cant have every mod, I want to at least have some of the best ones, especially ones that add a lot of cool parts, i guess i cant really make up my mind about what mods i want since i have a 3gb limit, but i am really trying to dig and look around for different mods, really any that i think will add anything cool to the game

I rather aggressively remove any part I'm not going to use; so practically every fixed size tank, every fixed size wing part, half the engines, fairings, Squad fuselage parts given B9 covers those, structural parts, a lot of the squad IVAs, even the game music. Procedural parts are a bit of a godsend. I'm trying to have just enough parts to do everything I want plus look reasonable.

What you need to do first is make a list of every activity you want to do, get a list of parts that'll support that, work out which mods cover the areas best and then bin the bits you don't want. The USI mods seem really good but I don't actually like using them because I don't really dig the style, and also it rather seems if you use one you end up using all of them & then you're playing USI space program :).

I like spaceplanes, a lot - so I'll use a bunch of mods to support that first and foremost. I should really swap Retrofuture out for something that'll provide more base parts, but I really like building RF planes :S I had to throw the clouds out of my main install which I miss, and there's a couple of things like Near Future Propulsion I've not managed to squeeze in yet, but I've almost managed to cover everything now.

though i like your thinking on how to reduce lag and part count, i think im just gonna wait till i get my better pc and then there will be less lag, my processor is pretty crappy right now and doesn't handle mods well at all, but that's going to change soon
