Welcome to the forums @Henrir2.

I believe this is a known issue.  A scene change often clears it but it will return every once and a while.  It doesn't affect the actual water.

But so far after 3-5 restarts nothing has changed, the ocean is still invisible.

Ok, let's start with the versions of KSP and Scatterer you're using: KSP v1.2.2 and Scatterer v0.0315, neither of which are the latest versions.  Go to the OP and try updating Scatterer to v0.0320 (if you're going to remain with KSP v1.2.2, don't upgrade to the absolute latest version of Scatterer which is for v1.3.0).  Someone wiser than me will confirm if there's a better version match.

Also, read this thread and post a link to your output_log file if you're still having problems so people can see any errors/issues as KSP runs and all the mods you're installing.

I don't want to update right now just in case some of my mods will stop working, if i ever have the patience to do it, i will. CKAN Says i have 69 mods on my install but i probably have more because some manually installed mods aren't recognized.

I loaded into my save and then exited out i hope that's good enough.

Edit: I made a fresh install with only scatterer and EVE with medium resolution, the problem still remains. ( https://imgur.com/gallery/gGzYZ )

Here's the output log of the install with only scatterer and EVE. I noticed that in the end of the log it said "[Scatterer] Stock oceans already removed". Maybe that has to do with something. ( https://www.mediafire.com/file/qtrwn6xdjojv4zd/output_log.txt )

So, um, has anyone else had this bug?  'Cause I just ran into it.

Not game-breaking, as I can still click on all the buildings (I just have to be careful to look at the tooltip to see which one I'm pointing at before clicking), and changing to a different scene then back fixed it (for now), but it is a bit annoying.

That is probably the most common bug. There are memes about it at this point. Nothing you can do about it but scene changes.

I don't even see why it should be fixed. It doesn't do any harm at all. Anyways, blackrack did try but it's something sneaky and he has way better things to do than fix a bug that doesn't break anything. Plus with the new water refraction it looks pretty cool I'll say

Hi

I am having an issue where my log is being spammed at about once per frame with "NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object". I have other mods installed, but the log (download here: https://uploadfiles.io/d59jv) says "at scatterer.RefractionCamera.OnPreCull () [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0". Is this a known issue or bug? I am on KSP 1.2.2 with Scatterer 0.0320.

Turn off the water retractions in the main menu.

Just out of curiosity, did you install 0.0320 from here?: https://spacedock.info/mod/141/scatterer/download/0.0320

Because I did the same but in game on the scatterer window it says it's 0.0315. If you install the 0.0320b version from here: https://spacedock.info/mod/141/scatterer/download/0.0320b it gives you 0.0320b. So where's 0.0320?

They do work. The issue is now Scatterer, it’s how KSP implements their stock sun flare. You can fix it using kopernicus and creating a confit with this in it:
