I don't seem to experience many issues using OpenGL Only issue I have is a very minor color rainbow effect on the ground when ascending which would align with the black lines i had before but now its rather unnoticeable. Fantastic mod!!!

FYI I am running Nvidia 352 Drivers in Kubuntu 15.04, KSP-64bit

Blackrack, I just wanted to say thank you for such a beautiful mod. As with when the other great graphics mods were released, it feels unreal that we used to think the game had good visuals before their time. As with HD planet textures, as with clouds, and now with a true atmospheric effect.

Are those cities a part of EVE?

They are, and they look fantastic on the darkside (no screenshots, I was too busy drooling). I can't recommend this mod combination strongly enough, blackrack and rbray89 are wizards who have made Kerbin into something beautiful. And best of all, it works fine within the 32-bit RAM limit without ATM or OpenGL shenanigans. Those pics are with the default configs, I expect things to get better still when people like Proot take the tools and work their magic.

What's up with your atmosphere color/height? it looks all wonky and way too blue.

Also blackrack, this is amazing. Sad though because I run on a mac. (OpenGL):(

Some pics with the new version and this visual mods:

_ EVE 7-4 with RC textures

_ Texture Replacer with RC settings and textures

_ Planet Shine

_ Distant Object

Something looks completely off with the postprocessing, like you have it almost compeltely turned off, no scattering in sight.

Also, the moon in the sunrise pics seems weird.

This shot is great though. http://i.imgur.com/qyQJJGj.jpg

I have the same setup. It seems that EVE WIP Overhaul generates better results with scatterer than using it with EVE 7-4?

I use 7-4 and it works well. Wip-EVE looks better (from the screenshots I've seen) because of the ground textures and the ocean reflection. Technically, there shouldn't be any problems with either causing conflicts with the scattering effects.

I like this, unfortunately it doesn't work on OS X... Tried it. Is there ever going to be an OSX version

I'll work on fixing OpenGL but expect it to break with any major change. The shaders aren't final yet so I may not have it fixed every time.

Postprocessing is not off but light, if you compare this pics with the same pics where postprocessing is off there is a real difference. If I set more postprocessing the effect is too great at evening and morning.

For Mun, the problem is a black moon and it's too visible but it's a ksp problem. The other problem with Mun is the sun is too big in the sky, even by set MIE_G to 0.1 .

At any rate, my game was never more beautiful thank you for your mod!!

Thanks for clarifying. My intuition is that there were technical differences between WIP and 7-4 that would generate divergent scattering results.

Okay then, one thing I wanted to ask, since you seem to be using windowshine/TR's reflective visors, does the atmosphere reflect properly on it?

Also, not sure what you mean by the sun being too big, you can try making the sunflare texture smaller if you want. Lowering MIE_G will give you an unnaturally emtpy sky.
