I'm running the latest release with the latest .dll patch and scatterer isn't working from the home screen or map view.

Scatterer is ONLY working in flightscene/KSC, afaik

Many thanks for making this mod, it's really great!

Unfortunately, I still keep getting the weird halo atmosphere bug as seen here:

ub7o7Xf.png

I am using
Kerbal Space Program - 1.2.0.1586 (OSXPlayer)
OS: Mac OS X 10.11.6
CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4980HQ CPU @ 2.80GHz (8)
RAM: 16384
GPU: AMD Radeon R9 M370X OpenGL Engine (2048MB)
SM: 41 (OpenGL 4.1 ATI-1.42.15)

And the latest Version of Scatterer (downloaded for KSP 1.2 from the front page of this thread) together with the .dll fix from here: https://mega.nz/#!TFZzmL4D!ob2BTkD4ECa90hvvKfxtL1g_V3YUORY8PVhsaWq9uxU

The KSP log does not indicate any other related bug or missing files to me. I thought the atmosphere halo was fixed some versions ago, but maybe not for OpenGL or OS X?

Also, I don't have any other mods (such as E.V.E. installed). So, I think this is totally unrelated to the cloud shadow issues?

Thanks!

Hey you do a lot around here.... So really thanks man for all the hard work.

V8jester said it quite well, but I wanted to echo the sentiment. @blackrack you do quite a bit of work, not just with keeping scatterer going, but with helping out others with their mods. And you make KSP look simply stunning.

Thanks for everything you've done for the game and the community.

I'm having this same issue, same basic specs as well. Ive read back through this thread and don't see that this problem has been addressed? Sorry if I've missed something, I'm new to the KSP mod community. Thanks!

You need  that dll

I tried it, but I cant download a dll file. Is there a program I need?

EDIT: I talked to my friend and he told me to just drag and drop. Thank you so much for your help. It's really great of you to sit here responding to idiots like me.

Same issue here with 1.2. No one in the thread has seemed to address this issue either. Here's some screenshots from me:

As you can see, the atmosphere is looking odd. The higher you go, the thicker the white/blue band gets. Once orbiting, it becomes polygonal and just looks bad. Anyone else experiencing this? Anyone have a fix for this? Anyone working on a fix?

I'm on MacOS Sierra, happens with and without AMD compatibility enabled, OpenGL here of course.

EDIT:

Turns out the issue has been pointed out previously on page 200 and Blackrack is working on a setting to fix it.

Tried to fix image size, but they are still pretty small. Found that fix is in the works.
