Will you skip school/work on 27 April?

Recommended Posts

Is KSP going to v1.0 that big a deal for you that you'd miss work/school for it?

Although my fondness for KSP is great, I would never let it get in the way of my academics.

EDIT: I am soooooo glad that my finals will be done before the 27th!

I've been with KSP since 2011, I think waiting a bit longer is not really an issue.

I've only skipped school for being sick and nothing else. Seriously, It can wait until I get home or when I have free time.

Also you guys are lucky, I still have another month before finals!

It releases a week before AP exams. There won't be much time for KSP until they finish...

Unfortunately, I don't think my parents will fancy the idea of me skipping a whole day of school just for 1.0, even though the occasion is totally worth it. :(

I have a two week break starting monday but I'm going to be on an island with a tiny laptop... :(

I dont want to ruin 1.0 by playing it on a machine that is not ideal so I think I will wait a week till I get back before I jump in.

It will also mean that I wont have to deal with the mad rush to download it.

...

Oh who am I kidding, I'm totaly gonna play it on my laptop

Much as I'd like to write off next Monday (and all subsequent Mondays) Murphy's Law says that if I did, KSP wouldn't get released until the very end of the day. I work from home so I can always take a "break" if it does come out during the day.
