  1. 1. Should devs/experimental testers be part of the achievements?

Just made rendezvous in Minmus orbit. It\'s not perfect, but I got close enough to clamp onto it. Below are pictures of the rendezvous. I believe I\'m the first to do this, just say something if I wasn\'t. =P

I\'ve landed on Minmus. The journey wasn\'t flawless however; an important stage with landing legs attached to it ran out of fuel 30 km above the surface of Minmus and had to be detached ... ! However, I managed to land on Minmus without further errors partially thanks to very low gravity. The remains of my spacecraft now serves more or less as a Rover thanks to wheeled landing-gears attached to it.

Its quite an odd moon. From a distance it looks like a giant, blue popcorn. I landed on flat terrain to increase chances of survival.

The problem with achievements is that everyone will have a different advantage/disadvantage. For example most of these were fulfilled before I woke up this morning.

Maybe timezones/regions would be a good addition?

ButButButBut.. that\'s not a spacePLANE. Its a spaceship with wings. Those wings couldn\'t actually let it 'Fly' in the same sense a plane 'Flies'

Space Shuttles didn\'t land under their own power.

Though you make a good point. Spaceglider then. The point is, if it can land without needing parachutes [unless they a drogues] because it has wings, then it is some form of plane.

Please look at my screenshot. Is it possible that it is the highest point of Minmus? Anyway, that marked place is a pretty good terrain to make a base on, that\'s also where I\'ve landed.

Nope, that\'s not the highest point (If your craft has landed inside the area you marked). I\'m at 4154m and it\'s still not the highest point.

I have landed on mountains that are 5000m.

Veto Aerospace Ibis Version 2 has made touchdown on Minmus. I believe is is the first C7 Mk3 cockpit vessel to do so.

00:54 Saturday 19 May.

There is potentially fuel for return. I will be attempting to do so.

Also, I think the testers should have their own achievements thread. Though that\'s only really if the testers had an unfair advantage - say, if 0.15X was only released to a group of people rather than the public.

I just got done with a mission to land on Minmus, then land on the Mun and return safely to Kerbin. Am I the first?

Images (watch the MET):

I had to get a piece of the action.

I went to Minmus and back using only RCS. 2 tanks. Stock parts, btw.

It\'s two stages, actually. According to my calculations, it should do the Mun too.

Oh yeah, I see. The second RCS tank comes off.

I guess you need to do it JUUUUST right for it to work? Or can you just kind of, be careful with it but still kinda punch it?
