That's No Moon...

So, I was on a generic mission to Minmus to plant a flag, and I noticed something strange. Lines. As I was coming to land, the popped into view. I was honestly, confused. I got closer, and they didn't disappear. I landed, and flew there using the EVA Jetpack. I took a sample, and an EVA Report. The sample said it tasted nothing like a frozen mint dessert. I thought, strange, if it doesn't taste like a dessert, what is Minmus really? My bets on a HUGE spaceship, all welded into one part (which explains the no lag), and the reason it looks like a frozen ball of water is because the inhabitants of "Minmus" need only water to survive. The gravity is made from all the metal inside Minmus to support the massive amount of frozen water at the outer hull.

Whoops forgot the picture

Do you believe me? I already got my tinfoil, I'll make the hat tomorrow.

razark be realistic here, where would they find a big enough studio?

There's only one answer.

Oh come on, everyone knows they built a sound stage on Duna only for that.

This happened while returning from a Mun flyby.

Took some juggling with map view to force a redraw that fixed the glitch.

Oh my, Kerbin is... hatching?

Jet fuel can't melt steel beams !!!

Wait, wrong thread...

Correct. But structural steel loses the majority of strength long before melting. And by structural steel I of course mean M-beams.

It totally is. Quick, evacuate all kerbals.

If we're lucky, the interdimensional being that hatches will lay a new planet, similar in size and composition to today's Kerbin.

It's interdimensional, so it can draw mass and energy from other places and stuff like that.

I have a tinfoil hat left over from my days in the Nimona comment section someone can borrow if they want.

Please provide the coordinates of your discovery! I must send a mission to confirm the lines at once!

26,18' 38" N

29, 46' 50" E

Sorry for not responding earlier, I had to go to bed.

No problemo! I'll try and squeeze a mission in as I'm working on other important Space projects :3

I've seen a similar thing. Once I got within 120,000km the planet redrew itself and everything was fine. Weird thing is, it only happened on that one flight, and didn't happen again for the rest of the day. I was going to file a report, but decided not to when it didn't recur.

I'm pretty sure that's been there since 0.23.5

One of my rovers died horribly not too far from one of these artifacts.
