KSP Is the new Minecraft?

I will add to this discussion that Microsoft paid way too much for a product line that has already peaked. I don't think they will recoup their 4 billion.

They didnt pay for the Game but for all that jucy Personal Data and Influence they get.

No way. KSP requires some level of intelligence to play, but idiots with flint and steel can play minecraft.

But yes. Minecraft is more versetile than ksp. So ksp wont attract such diverse audiences as Minecraft does.

Not without multiplayer, and I can't figure out how that would work in KSP. You'd have to introduce warp drive and have everyone running on the same clock...

This is a bit bias depending on your location. Cause where I'm at the basketball ain't got *things* on football.

I don't think Minecraft is in any danger from KSP. These games differ too much from each other to have absolutely different players. Those who like to play Minecraft might not like KSP and vice versa. There is only small part of players that like both games. I know what Minecraft is, I even tried to play it a couple of times, but never was too excited about it. Finally, I shrugged my shoulders and never played Minecraft again. Having spoken this, I must admit that there are probably much more fans of Minecraft than there are fans of KSP simply because Minecraft is simpler and has very low and smooth learning curve unlike KSP.
