[Fixed] NaN - Corrupted 1.0 save

My main career save file's been corrupted. Now whenever I log in, I just get a kind of map view of deep space, no planets, sun, or anything it seems. This is such a bummer, I was just starting to get interplanetary contracts. Unfortunately I never backed up the save file, which I usually do at least once a week or so, but never done it in 1.0, and now I'm really regretting it.

I hope there's a way to fix this, and I really appreciate anyone who'll take a few minutes to reply, thanks.

I've fixed it, thanks for all of the replies though. I really appreciate it. One of two things ended up fixing it, I went through my career save (called Eeloo Or Bust) and simply removed all NaNs (not a number) and replaced with reasonable velocities/ coordinates. It also could have just been closing KSP and opening again, I done both at the same time so don't really know which fixed it, it was most likely removing NaNs but I can't say for sure.

I had a similar problem. Loading an earlier quicksave fixed the problem. I hope it works for you too.

Someone may be able to help you if you're willing to upload the save file here. Definitely report it as a bug though.

If you post up your save file (look for ksp/saves/YourGameName/persistent.sfs) someone might be able to fix it. Even if they can't posting said file in the support forum might help Squad fix the bug.

Sometimes save file editing can fix the NaN your gonna have to post your presisten.sfs and someone might look into it for you in the support section.
