no scientists glitch

Hello,

my scientists cant do research in processing lab or either cant restore parts.

im in career mod and it seems ive this problem since started playing.

i bought ksp a few days before the 1.0 update.

i read about problems with the processing lab or science points but nothing about that it says ive no scientists on board.

seems like a glitch.

are you sure they are actually scientists? Have a look in the administration/crew hire building at KSC to make sure. They should be under the "assigned" tab.

Yes they are scientists, one of them already got 1 star.

like i said, its nothing like: are they really inside the lab?

I cant restore science blocks and if they sitting inside a lab it says "no scientists"

I'm also experiencing this bug! There are 2 scientists placed in the lab and also the data from my experiments, while orbiting Kerbin. When I "start research" the lab rapidly drains my power supply, but all I get is the "no scientists" error message...

I'm fertig the same Error Message. I have a lab in Kerbin Orbit, enough energy and two (one Star) Scientists in the Lab with eight Experiments in it.

Any Solutions would be much appreciatet

Are you running a language mod?

I had the same issue when I used a language pack. Got rid of it, and it all worked as it should.

I guess the system won't know Wissenschaftler from scientists

If you - for example - use the german mod, go to your game folder (Kerbal Space Program > GameData > KSP Deutsch Patch (or any other language mod folder) > Experience and open the Traits.cfg with an editor. You have to change the @title from "Wissenschaftler" to "Scientist" or delete this line.

So you don't have to deinstall you language mod.
